Should I mention now that when we sold our TH last year, we didn't have a new house under contract yet? We lived with ILs for two months, and then the day after we closed on the new house, my parents and brother moved in with us for three months.
I was sooooo happy that first time we had complete privacy to walk around in our underwear after five months of living with parents.
Ironically, we're moving out of our house in two weeks, and in with my parents because we're building, and new house won't be ready until mid-September. I think for me, it feels less weird this way because they're not in "our" space, if that makes sense. It's just a few weeks, and I'm trying to look at it as a mini-vacation from constant cooking/cleaning. And, they have a pool.
