sarahh and ladytiffany24 I would be a zombie today if I were up at 3:00. Yikes! Here's to hoping it's not too long of a day for you!
I'm excited to go back for day 2 of our training. I didn't realize how much I must have been couped up in the house this summer with only a toddler for company if I'm looking forward to training and curriculum mapping. I may sneak into my classroom this afternoon and work on some of the mess too.
zengal yep! I get home tonight! DH has to take a last minute business trip to Texas tonight so we are doing a baby swap at the airport. Fingers crossed that my flight is on time!

Question for STMs...DD loves to eat (which is great). The problem is, when I let her feed herself she puts EVERYTHING in her mouth at once. Any tips on teaching her how to take bites and finish what's in her mouth before eating more?

muskiefan, I'm not sure. I'm kind of hoping it's that and that I'm not going to start getting daily pregnancy headaches! Luckily, it has died down a little already so I'm hoping it won't last long.
Yikes. Hoping everyone who had a bad sleep has a quick day and can get some rest tonight.
I have my appointment at 12:50. I am trying to convince my H to call in sick and come with me. We DTD this morning for the first time in a while so the chances are that he is feeling pretty agreeable.
I woke today to substantially less bloat and I almost feel, dare I say, normal. Now I am spiraling about disappearance of symptoms. Why does pregnancy have to be such a mind fuck.
@justinslovo I'm sure your body is just evening out for a minute- try to enjoy the reprieve for a minute! Usually bloat seems worse in the evening anyway

We can only put a few pieces at a time on dds plate.
Or I've been saying "chew" nice and slowly and she kinda slows down.

Morning. I got sick this morning right after I ate breakfast, which was weird. I think it was a combination of my usual nausea and some anxiety about my mom's visit. But now I feel shaky and off. At least I'm taking the day off tomorrow and leaving early today, so I have a short day ahead of me.
Should be today sometime- the nurse told me they get the results in a couple hours so if I don't hear from them after lunch I'll call. I realize I am going to a lunch with a friend and her two toddlers, so hopefully if it's bad news it can wait until after then.

+1 to just putting a little bit at a time on the high chair/plate. If we try to give DS a bunch of whatever, he just jams a very impressive amount into his mouth. So he normally only has about 2-3 bites of food on his tray at a time.
Or he goes the complete opposite way and eats nothing at all.
I just had the nicest old guy take my blood- he wrapped the gauze on with this ace bandage stuff instead of medical tape- I HATE medical tape. It gives me a rash if I leave it on for more than 5 minutes. I love this guy! #itsthelittlethings
