Hope the dentist goes ok @justinslovo! It's so damn hard to brush their teeth if they are uncooperative.
I woke up at 5 AM and realized I forgot to put the garbage out. Then I inadvertently woke up DS while I was dealing with it. So he and I are currently cuddling in the couch, watching Sesame Street. I'm already looking forward to bed!

We're going to Louisville for the weekend, just a fun little weekend trip.
But I'm still not over being mad at my H about last night. I'm still especially stewing over MIL's visit. I'm already trying to plan ways to get the hell out of the house when she's there.

I just caught up on yesterday's thread but missed your poof'd post. How long is the visit?

I had some crazy vivid dreams last night about things that could happen in real life. For example, I had a dream I lost one of my tiny diamond earrings (handed down from my Grandma, so they are sentimental too). When I woke up I had to check I didn't lose one. Then I had a dream that I had a conversation with my OB nurse who helped me through the whole loss and when I woke up I had to think if it really happened or not.
Good luck at your ultrasound .! Let us know how it goes - I'm getting mine in a few days and I'll be 5w4d, so I'm kind of curious what they will be looking at around then
I do not want to get out of bed. DS was making noise but now there is silence so I am waiting here until he gets noisy again.
This is me every single morning.
DH worked overnight, which obv meant DD was up THREE times. Then she was up at 530-6am for the day, but she just hung out (happily..ish) until 630-7 because we are not waking up at 5.
I know I'm bringing up the rear (5w today), but I peed on my last test today. I stopped at 21dpo w/ DD so I felt today was a good time to pee on my last FRER. The test line was dark before the pee even hit the control line, so I'm happy. Now to just wait until my first appt a week from Monday!
Both kids were up at 6:30 this morning, which would have been fantastic if we were going on our weekend getaway. Instead, they're still miserable (with the stomach bug) and pitiful.
We decided to see how they do into the afternoon before we cancel completely, but I'm not sure my heart will be in it if they're not well.
kaits8, don't worry, I was 5 weeks yesterday and still peed on a stick then. I have one more CB Digital weeks estimator that I MAY take next week to see if it bumps up the weeks again. But idk. I'm glad your line was nice and dark!
Long weekend in Canada so we're heading to our hometown for the weekend. DH will be spending half of it fishing with his dad, BIL, brother, and grandpa while I'll be hanging out with my family and his mom and sister.
Hopefully the rest of the day goes better than this morning though. In the first half hour we were awake I changed 2 diapers, cleaned up poop and vomit off the floor, and DS screamed for about half of it. All while I was trying not to throw up or was trying to use the bathroom.
I was offered a 9 month contract yesturday in another department- a slight pay increase but not much. We didn't get raises this year though so it would be like my yearly increase. Different work to learn so it would build my resume. But now I'm not sure if I should disclose that I'm pregnant before finalizing it since I will only be able to do about 6 or 7 months of the contract. I would probably start end of August and I would be in second tri in September.
I'm unionized so I would still have me "home" position after my Mat leave to go back to.
Should I disclose or just tell the new boss in September -BTW, I'm pregnant and leaving after Feb?
mikaela20 I probably wouldn't disclose it until September.
I've been trying for #1 for 4 years though, and the amount of opportunities I've passed up on is nuts. About 1.5 years ago, I decided I wasn't planning things around being pregnant anymore. So- I might be in a different headspace than most people on the board.

mikaela20, The HR Manager in me is about to come out. You are not required to disclose at all, let alone this early. If I were in your shoes, I'd wait to disclose in the 2nd tri. They can't legally remove you from a position or anything like that just because you're pregnant.
Thanks glb30 and ladytiffany24. I am too nice at work so I wanted to see what everyone else thought. I'm going to wait to disclose then in 2nd tri and just take the offer now. Thanks for reaffirming this is an okay move to do.
I've passed up many opportunities planning for a baby, this was my second offer this month (I don't apply, people just call me up internally) so figured I should start saying yes before people stop asking me all together.

I am SO happy it is a long weekend. My H and I will be busy but at least we will be together.
DD just went down for nap #1...I've been counting down the minutes until nap time since 730am. It's raining here (which the grass desperately needs!), and we are hoping to go to the children's museum this afternoon if DD's attitude improves (I'm going to give her the benefit of the doubt that there's a tooth coming in..or something).
Unrelated question..does anyone own a robotic vacuum? I'm seriously considering one. The house isn't big (1300 sq ft ranch), but with 2 big, hairy dogs & 2 cats, I'm SO sick of vacuuming 1-2x a day and finding tumbleweeds rolling around as soon as I finish. The Ilife vacuum isn't too expensive (under $200) and seems to get good reviews...I don't really want to spend $$$ on a Roomba but I could be convinced if it's truly worth it. Good/bad/indifferent reviews of any brands? My house is mostly hardwood/tile/laminate, with just a couple of area rugs.
And that's why I'm afraid to spend so much $ on a roomba. The Ilife is maybe $180+/-, which I feel like is less of a risk to take. I have visible hairballs rolling around the house daily, and I'm a neat freak so it stresses me out big time. I literally get down on my hands and knees and scoop up hair multiple times a day (in addition to vacuuming at least once a day, if not more). After these dogs...I'm sticking to small, less hairy ones!
