My girls woke up at 7 this morning on the day I got to sleep in. It turned out okay because I got to spend more time with them and I usually don't see them before I leave in the morning. Not looking forward to this weekend being away and studying all day every day

I just had my first appt with regular OB. He was trying to be nice and looked for baby on their portable ultrasound. Well, I have a severely retroverted uterus, so he couldn't find it. Now I am waiting for a regular ultrasound. I am not super worried since I just had one Monday, but I'm not confident enough to decline. I'm mostly just annoyed I have been here for 2 hours already.
B decided it would be cool to wake up at 5:30. Not cool baby, momma is tired. No plans for this weekend. It's a long weekend here so I think we might hit up the pool and splash pad. I also have to get tons of laundry done for our trip next week. B is at my moms today, and I working, or pretending to.
mikaela20 congrats on the job move - any little raise will help with a new LO on the way! So glad you took the advice to wait on telling - I'm going to wait as long as possible this time. I'm hoping I can make it to 20 weeks before anyone says anything.

The ultrasound went fine. The baby is still measuring on track with a good heartbeat. They did see a SCH. I know that they are usually fine but I made the mistake of googling...

I had a scary night. I woke up at 1am with abdominal cramps, shaking, and nausea. We called the on call doc and she had me get on my hands and knees and put a hot cloth on my abdomen. The cramps went away. The doctor said it was probably gas.

Great news about the baby! Sorry about the SCH though.
Yay for good ultrasounds . and heytheredelilah! I'm sorry about the SCH heytheredelilah. I've known a bunch of people who have had them and all was ok. Hopefully it won't be an issue for you at all.
Question for the IF ladies (., ugaqueencity, mikaela20, anyone else): how are you and your doctor determining your due date/how far along you are? Are you going by ovulation based on trigger or by LMP?
The reason I ask is that I have an ultrasound scheduled for next Thursday. I'll be 5w6d based on LMP and 6w1d by O. I feel like that might make a difference in what we might see.
kaits8 I have a Roomba and it helps with the pet hair. I have a yellow lab, a St Bernard/Great Dane mix, and a cat.
I finished my last night of a 3 night stretch. I like that I can all of my hours in 3 days but 12 hours overnight kills me. Also, a patient chipped my tooth hitting me in the face with a call light. I hate dementia.
I hate the first tri days where I'm feeling okay, just tired, but start freaking out that something is wrong. It's been a couple days since I've felt really crappy and it messes with my head. I probably won't feel okay until my ultrasound in a week and a half.
caer I'm going by IUI date, since my nurse said she could tell I was ovulating during the procedure. I'll find out for sure with next week's ultrasound what the actual RE thinks (I didn't meet with the RE today)
Thank you! I've been going by LMP for now but I guess I'll ask at my next appointment.

We went by ovulation until my ultrasound which was measuring 2 days ahead so we bumped up my due date. If we had gone by LMP I would have been further along and while I know it doesn't technically matter with baby's development my betas would have freaked me out being so low. Does that make any sense? I feel like my brain is fried and I'm just spitting out massive run on sentences
That makes sense! I'm playing a similar game because I want to lower my expectations for my ultrasound. I guess we'll see what happens. Thanks.
. yay for a great u/s. Congrats on your job @michaela22! I wish I could wait to tell people at work. Half of them know already. The others won't find out until we announce on social media if we do so. (Who am I kidding, I already have an idea in mind!)

Yes it will make a difference. Mine was a bit of a unique case since they assigned my LMP date becuase I didn't respond to my first round of Femara. I didn't technically have a period. They called me in for my first ultrasound based on my recorded O date since I was on a monitored timed intercourse and they knew around when I o'd. When you go for the ultrasound mention your actual O date, if it's not already in your file with then. I'm excited for you! Fx for a good visit.
