I saw my dream house (not forever home but perfect for now) and I'm making DH go see it. We have to move in about 3 months when he starts his new job so I'm hopeful we can do it now! We will see.

H woke me up for an attempt at romantic sex. I obliged but tried to let him know that 5 am probably wasn't a wise choice. He was a little disappointed when I went right back to sleep after instead of spending time with him while the baby slept. Sorry H!

I love quiet mornings. Nursing the sleepy baby on the couch while hubby and DD sleep. Although my days of sleeping in are over, at least I can enjoy some peace and quiet.
So tired! Fun night last night but we didn't get home until 11:30. Had to nurse/put the baby to bed and then we DTD so I probably didn't actually fall asleep until 12:30. One wake up at 4am and 6am then DS1 got up at 7am. He is now in our bed watching PBS.
DH loved the pedicure last night. Maybe this means that I will be able to get more now that he knows how awesome they are.
At 12 weeks of age DS has finally decided his swing isn't out to kill him. He enjoys it now that he can hit the hanging bears. He's still not sold on the bouncer part of the system but that's okay. Even him just liking swing now makes me feel less buyers remorse lol
DS is drooling epic amounts of drool today. Like when he opened his mouth to latch it was like a waterfall and when I'm hoping him its saturating the bib I had on him.
Now not only do I not get to go swimming... I have to deal with cranky pants all day lol
+1 and it is his own damn fault for having relatives come to town and stay with us his first full week back to work. He is the one wanting to get up early to spend time with them. So sorry I expected you to check on the kids lady night since I have been staying up with one of them every freaking night this past week.
Yes his foul mood has put me in a really pissy mood as well.

Ridley is sleeping in her rnp and h brought her into the bathroom with him while he takes a shower (he takes epicly long bath/showers (like hours)) so that I could rest! But of course I just took a caffeine pill so I could have some energy for the day so instead I'm on here between bouts of cleaning. But still so thoughtful of him! I love that man.
My new home care worker came for the first time yesterday and I don't think my kitchen has ever been as clean as it is right now. She's amazing. Plus our personalities don't clash which is a huge bonus. She comes every Wednesday and Friday and she'll even go do my grocery shopping for me if I give her a list. Best news of the day yesterday!
Oh, I havea question about shots. How long were your babies fussy after getting their shots? R seems to still be way more fussy than normal, but she got her shots Thursday morning. She slept a bunch after and seemed mostly fine Thursday, but Friday she was a pill and still this morning she's significantly more fussy than usual.
Could just be a bad morning. She did sleep in bed with us all night, so I don't know if that makes her sleep better or worse or something. But since it's so close to the shots it just makes me curious. I'm tempted to just give her some tylenol and see if it helps, but at the same time I don't want to drug her up if I don't need to. You know? Ugh. I'll probably just cuddle her more and hope for the best.

I hope your bad mood doesn't last. Though sorry about the houseful. That sounds stressful enough without a pissy husband.
Got my freaking period!! So pissed about this. I didn't get it until after 13 month of BF DD1 so I don't know what's different this time. I knew it might come as I have been spotting for a few days
LO won't take a bottle from H daycare says she is taking all of her ounces I send now that I switched bottles. I can only guess that in the home setting she thinks im around and holds out for the real deal? I hope she gets over this quick because a) I have to work late 3 days next week and B) I'm sure H feels like crap not being able to feed his daughter
At least I am on the way home now so it can only get better

Can he feed her outside or in a room she isn't familiar with?
My H is helping his dad move his brother back home today. This is ds1's favourite person so it's exciting he will get to see him often before he leaves for England in a month to work.

@led, DS was back to himself less than 24 hours post shots. DD didn't really have issues with them. I would think that the shot fussiness would pass in about 24-48 hours.

I have frantically cleaned most of the day. I think it is a bit of anxiety related to going back to work. And the reality that I won't have as much time to clean so I better do the deep stuff today while I can. I am seriously thinking about how to work a housekeeper into the budget, for my sanity.
We got back from my parents today! On my flight home they upgraded me to first class ... Woot woot!! But Good to be home I missed Dh like crazy cause he didn't come with us ... I have to unpack and repack cause we are leaving tomorrow night for our vacation (Dh is in a wedding in VA next weekend so we're making vacation out of it) ... We are driving a lot so fx'ed it is smooth but most of the driving is through the night so I think it will be okay.

@led- My LO got her shots on Mon...she was way more fussy than usual until Friday!! I was worried and wondered if it was normal. I did end up giving her Tylenol twice and it seemed to help somewhat.

Date night last night was great. MH and I saw some live music, visited a couple friends and had a really nice dinner at a steak house. And drank good wine!
MH and I were able to sleep in this AM because L had a good stretch of sleep. She woke up at 545 but went back to sleep by 7! Then we watched OITNB while she took her late morning nap. Now I'm getting a pedicure while MH watches L. Pretty nice weekend so far! FX it stays that way

IDK how you can manage deep cleaning with a newborn lol twocents6708... new mommy confession: I can really only get something done if someone else is on baby duty... well, technically I is sleeping now so I COULD be cleaning. I'm eating ice cream and TCF'ing instead!
birkmmm, I can't believe how much you are traveling! Sounds exhausting and crazy and exciting and fun all at the same time haha
I just did some grocery shopping and mommy baby yoga today. My doula was at class today to help out and she hasn't seen I since he was 2 weeks old. It was really nice to catch up!
R is finally asleep! She fell asleep right as we were getting ready to leave and she just cried for like 2 hours as we tried to get her back to sleep. She's asleep now in my arm and it's already getting sore. This kid is too heavy.
