Well I had what I thought was my period 2 weeks ago, but then had one day of bright red bleeding yesterday. It's gone now. I was ridiculously stressed out Friday night into yesterday afternoon (turns out DH putting the toddler to bed in our bed Friday night was as bad of an idea as I'd imagined) and looking back on it, two weeks ago is when MIL came to visit and I was beyond stressed then too. So good news is maybe I'm not getting my period back yet. Bad news is I'm more stressed out than I've been realizing and I need to do something about it. I joined our local chapter of MOMS club to meet new people, have DD make some friends and maybe start getting some local help/support, but the meetings keep getting cancelled for one reason or another. There's another one this Friday morning, FX it actually happens.

teraiin we have used the sit me up once since B has great head and neck control, but he didn't like it. We will try again in a week or so when he's close to or at 4 months.

teraiin our munchkins all use the fp sit me up. Damian has excellent head control and the girls both have good head control. They love the seat, but only for like 30 minute increments. It is not as upright as a bumbo or boppy chair either. The weight limit is 25 pounds so I am sure you will get to a time where you are conformable putting your DS in it before that point.

I am so behind here. Weekends are not good for my social media time:)
gahorseygal, hell no. Even when my parents come from a different country we still do naps!!!
I have no opinion or suggestion on bumbo or sit me up as we don't have and won't have either.
Sleep past 3/4am is a cluster fuck.
DH went out to run errands. Which is great. But I now have two kids here, I need lunch and a nap myself. But the errands need running and he deserves a little alone time!

A couple weeks ago or so someone mentioned a nail clipper they liked from BRU...I think it was nerdykitten? By any chance can anyone link to that one on the site? I've been just filing L's nails but I don't think that's enough ....she scratches herself constantly. And at the same time I'm so scared to cut her nails for fear of cutting her

Hey teraiin. Some thoughts about tummy time. I know you're waiting for your pillow but if you have a boppy that works as well. Lo has no problem when I use the boppy, but will not lift his head without. He also doesn't really use his arms so I push them closer to his body and help him lift his shoulders up, once he's up he can hold himself.
Thanks!! I will try pushing his arms closer! Hopefully that will help.
Mh pointed out that when we carry DS he doesn't rest his head on our shoulders anymore he holds it up (for brief intervals) so he does have some control apparently he is just doesn't like tummy time.
Add me to the 'toddler that didn't nap today' group. Holy hell he was a nightmare this evening. So glad he is finally in bed. He was tired too because he fell asleep minutes after I left the room.
We've been drinking tonight and spent 2 hours discussing politics. As people get more and more alcohol in their systems they're getting more and more heated. Bring on the popcorn! *sits back to enjoy*
