Thanks for the tag kayladawn91!
powerofbacon, your little fighter has come so far!
Fearsy, Congrats!
I'm sure there's others, but pregnancy brain is in full swing around here so I lost track of who I was going to tag by the time I got to the end of thread.
Currently 33w5d and just trucking along. The OB wants to do an internal tomorrow to see if she can feel Baby K's head and determine if she's heads down now or not. If she's not or if the OB isn't sure, we'll do an ultrasound to make sure. If she's definitely not heads down, we'll get referred over to a higher risk OB who can walk us through either trying to turn her or setting up a C section. I think for now I'm actually going to push my OB to pump the brakes on this one - I'll only be 34 weeks this week, and she's still got plenty of time to turn over. Obviously I'm not saying wait until the last second when I'm in labor to make the call, but we've got 6 weeks or so, let's give it until maybe 36 weeks and see what happens.
We have virtually nothing done on Baby K's nursery, but MIL is moving in on the 18th, so hopefully she can help me light a fire under H to get his ass moving on this stuff. Right now we have some clothes, some diapers, my breast pump is on the way, a car seat/stroller combo, and a pack n play that I'm starting to suspect I read the directions on wrong and it actually *does* have the bassinet. So, worst case scenario, the kid has a place to sleep, clothes to wear, and safe transportation. My shower is next weekend, so hopefully that'll help fill in some more of the gaps.
Still sort of struggling with gestational diabetes. I've got it mostly under control, but one or two times a week I'll have a high fasting number. The OB wants me to get that down to zero times a week ASAP or we'll be talking medication. But virtually all my other numbers are in range (exceptions being the once or twice that I let myself have something I *know* I shouldn't, like pasta), so I feel like maybe OB needs to give me a bit more time. This is only the 3rd week I've been dealing with this, and I've made huge strides since that first week.
Then there's this little evil voice in my head that basically says "Yea, but... could we go back to eating pasta with the medication?" That voice needs to stfu.
