Hi! I'll update later with a picture since I no use tapatalk. Both babies are doing well, they turn 3 months on Thursday! I have no idea where the time has gone, but I feel like I'm just now starting to not feel like I'm drowning. A twin mom friend told me the first four months are the hardest so I'm almost there I guess! My boy is a very hard baby - he's colicky so I really struggled the first couple months. Thankfully baby girl is a chill and great baby so that helps me a little.
I went back to work last week and that's been incredibly hard. I love my job but I miss Hashtag and Hashbrown all day. Other than adjusting to this new transition, we are all doing great! My girl is petite and my mini me- two weeks ago she had just hit 9 pounds and was on the charts at 1st percentile! She looks just like me as a baby. My boy is huge. He's got my husbands genes for sure. He has to get his head rechecked next week because his head was measuring too big at their two month.
I promise I'll post a pic later! They're adorable. Also vote me for most loved grad. Yep, shameless plug. I went there.
Hai guise! DS will be three months on Saturday. I don't know where time has gone. We love our little dude so much (even if he did wake me up every hour after midnight last night).
He boycotts tummy time. No crying just lots of dirty looks. I bought him a tummy time pillow that plays music to see if I can make it more fun. No dice
He has also decided After 12 weeks of life that his swing is pretty cool. Too bad he likes it now that I'm trying to get him used to napping in his pack n play lol
27 Weeks here! I hit 3rd tri next week!!! We had a 3D u/s on Friday, but DD2 did not want to be seen and turned her head toward my back. We go back this Saturday for a re-scan. Hopefully she'll show us her face this time. Other than that I start appts every 2 weeks the end of next week. DD1 can't wait to be a big sister. She was watching Frozen yesterday and when Anna goes to wake up Elsa she came to my belly and shook her sister saying "wake up, wake up".
Lurking and loving always! Don't forget to vote
And a pic of DD and I at the on the beach at Sunset Friday after my 3D scan. PDQ
pippacricket as soon as I read that part, I said aloud "Hi there! Face here!" in the voice of Face!! Luckily no one heard me because I was in my pumping closet. Also you are so cute!
Hi friends. O will be 11 weeks this coming Thursday. He is really starting to show us bits of his personality. The social smiles are out in full force. He is cooing and starting to experiment with making other sounds. He hearts looking at himself in his mirrors. He is starting to roll onto his side from his back, and will flip himself from tummy to back when we are doing tummy time. He finds his hands accidentally here and there; and it is hilarious to watch his face when he moves them out of his line of vision as if thinking, "where the hell did that go?"
I started work yesterday. We did a soft entry into daycare last week, it was soul crushing to leave my baby for 6 hours with someone that wasn't family. But I am thankful that I got last week to process most of those guilt/sorrow feelings. I only cried about 30 minutes total yesterday Ten on the ride to work, another 10 when pumping and intermittent crying throughout the day. Seeing that little boy at then end of the day was the best feeling.
DS is closing in on four months! Time sure is flying. He is so freaking cute and smiley all the time, my heart can hardly stand it. He is going through a sleep regression, and we've had to stop swaddling because he can roll back to belly. But he is always smiley and giggles when I go in his room to check on him throughout the night, so that helps! Here are some pics of my happy guy:

Hey! Ridley is doing great and starting to sleep through the night about half the time. She's laughed a few times in her sleep, so we're excitedly waiting for her to do that more and while she's awake. But for the reason you're all here, pictures!

Hello!
I'm 23 weeks exactly and just kind of hanging out. I really have nothing to report so here's a poorly lit work bathroom selfie. My face is not cute today so I traded it in for a pretty looking sun.

Thanks for the tag Rama!
It's been a while since I updated but things have been going well. C turned 8 months in July and she's such a wild woman. We definitely have our hands full - she is NEVER still, even in her sleep! She's started standing on her own in small spurts, so I think walking isn't too far off. Her first discernible and on purpose word was "Opa" which is what we are calling my dad. It's pretty cute because she'll say it and do a little gesture where she rubs her finger over her lips because it's what he's always done with her. I guess he should be her favorite because we recently found out he named his new boat after her! We get "mama" and "dada" though not usually directed at us (unless she's mad). She is super smiley but basically refuses to laugh - another one of her funny quirks.
I'm 29+2 today and starting to feel really uncomfortable. I'm pretty positive that everybody felt the need to turn around last night because they nearly killed me with all the pushing. I've definitely traded walking for waddling and I'm about to run out of length on all my tops. My OB is also pretty positive I won't make it to 38 weeks, so I'm pushing to get things finished sooner than later.
We're soooo close to finishing the nursery (I don't think we'll ever finish). H is supposed to be assembling their storage unit sometime soon so I can go through all the books we collected for them through TTC and IF treatments and put some of them out. We're also working with the puppy and getting her ready to not be the baby anymore. It isn't going well. I hope she figures it out soon.
Hey ladies! My LO is 3weeks, he's growing and filling out his newborn clothes and moving on to 3 month outfits! He alternates between being a really sweet happy guy and his alter ego Mr Crankypants but we are so in love it doesn't matter. He eats CONSTANTLY so I barely get any breaks and other people struggle to make him happy, but I've mostly gotten over people watching me nurse so that's what family does instead of getting to hold him themselves.
*Poof* ETA: I've been lurking and want to come back to post more on GKU if you'll have me even though it'll be a while before we try for another.
We've had a couple of rough nights but for the most part he gives us 3/sometimes 3.5hr stretches so that's been good. He BFs like a champ and has a latch like a little piranha lol
His little fart smiles kill me and I love cuddling him. We've got a bunch of weddings coming up so I'm excited to dress him up. He's starting to enjoy baths more and loves being on his tummy we took him to the beach - was not a fan lol
We have a well-baby check in tomorrow so I'm excited to see how much he's gained.
I'm doing well recovery wise - feeling a lot stronger and impatiently waiting to start exercising again.

I am 25w 1d today and all is going well! At my last OB appt on Wednesday both babies were measuring 1lb 9oz which is very good with heart rates of 142/145 bpm. Baby girl continues to measure on time while baby boy is two days ahead (it's been this way since week 6 ultrasound at the RE). I begin weekly growth scans and non stress testing later this month and that has me both excited and freaked out that I'm coming up on 3T.
I am feeling mostly wonderful despite weekly nosebleeds. I had a week or two of cramps/aching legs and occasional heartburn but I really count my blessings and wish not to complain.
H and I took an overnight in Boston last week and even though it was far too short, we really enjoyed just wooing away from work, house renovations, baby stuff, etc and just reconnecting.
Without further ado, I present the reason H called me a "giant blueberry" this morning:
powerofbacon I am just amazed at how much she has grown! Also I am laughing at the sunglasses pic because it reminds me so much of the Maxine cartoon lady!!

I love all the updates in this thread!
Right now I am 22 weeks with B/G twins and there isn't too much going on over here! (That's a good thing, right?) I've started to feel a little movement and flutters, which is very exciting. My next growth scan isn't until Aug. 18 so I'm anxious to see them again and see how much they have grown! H and I have started to clear out the room that will be the future nursery and I think we will start painting in a couple weeks.
Here's a bump shot from Monday. I'm really hoping my chunky belly starts to reshape into a round shape soon. Haha.
Much love to all the ladies of GKU. Can't wait for more BFPs! Xoxo
