Thanks for asking about me. The afternoon was rough but he ended up taking an ok length nap. Then again we had issues going down to bed. He sleeps 30ish minutes then wakes up and fusses. I went in 2 times to soothe, DH went in once, and then we let him fuss. He cried for about 10 mins and has been sleeping ever since. Fingers crossed tonight goes better!
Well I got my first pp period. My poor vag is not holding on to the diva cup so well these days. I'm going to have to buy the bigger size tomorrow. I will just try to ignore it for tonight since I really don't want to wear a pad and ds1 opened all of my tampons.

FWIW, it took me several cycles to be able to use a cup again. Also, the larger diva size didn't work for me so I had to switch to sckoon, which is cool because they come in colors so my vag can be fanceh.
I didn't find diva cup until a while after DD. I'll be so sad if I have to use tampons again, even temporarily. Diva cup for life. Unless the sckoon has rhinestones. I could be convinced to switch for bling, but not colors.

Rhinestones in my vag sounds... unpleasant.
Just for looks. They need to be in the plastic so I don't feel them. This took a wrong way turn a while ago.
I will cry if I have to go back to tampons. I can't get the diva cup up far enough, I can feel the stem. And the stem against scar tissue is just not fun.

Most definitely westiemom. It's a reusable menstrual cup. And It's life changing.
Is it more comfy? How does it work?
It's a soft silicone cup. When it is in right you can't even feel it, there is a bit of a learning curve but after a cycle or two you'll be a pro. No leaks when it's in right unless it gets full. You can leave it in up to 12 hours, although on heavy days I had to empty at least once during the day. To empty you just remove, dump contents in toilet, wash and re-insert. No more buying tampons or pads and that shits expensive. The diva cup is $40 cdn so a bit less in the US.
I looked up the sckoon and that stem has me wincing, it looks like a unicorn.
Yeah, it looked massive to me, too. I guess I just stretched out that much, lol. TMI, but since it's bigger it stays up higher so I don't feel the stem like I did with diva.
