B eats a lot. He had this for breakfast this morning, PLUS a waffle with PB:
Other typical breakfasts include:
-Oatmeal, applesauce, and yogis -Whole banana and a piece of whole wheat toast with PB
I need inspiration for satisfying, easy meals. Thinking about the school year ahead. Also, lunches that can be sent to daycare? What does your LO love? ETA: we also do yogurt.

I have no photographs but C had a waffle with almond butter, a whole white peach and a go gurt. She only likes sucking the yogurt out of the tube. She won't eat eggs or oatmeal right now. We generally do toast or a waffle, yogurt, some kind of fruit, turkey sausage or peanut butter.
baytosa2013 I hadn't thought about turkey sausage. That's a good idea!
@badwolf321 what kind of sandwich? PB and J? Do you just cut it into tiny pieces?
carrots haven't done muffins yet. I'm sure he'd love them. Do you make them or buy them? Our sitter provides lunch too, but I am not a fan of what she feeds them- usually chicken nuggets and chips or something. We are pretty into whole foods around here, so I send one for him instead
We eat a lot at breakfast as well. No pictures but we typically rotate a carb (frozen mini pancakes, waffles, or French toast or toast with butter or peanut butter) with yogurt and fruit. We've started adding in oatmeal, too, so I'll do oatmeal and fruit, usually.
This feels like a dumb question, but are you all feeding them regular oatmeal, or baby oatmeal still? We haven't tried regular oatmeal, but I think she would really like it.

Regular! We've also been picking up the plum organics oatmeal packs for something different.
shahoi we use baby cereal still. It's far easier since no one in our house except lo eats oatmeal. Plus the one I buy is iron enriched so it's one less thing to worry about.
This morning A ate a blueberry pancake (standard, per advice of A's allergist to get him over the egg allergy), an English muffin with peanut butter, a yogurt pouch, a banana, an oat fiber bar, a few bites of a blueberry muffin, and a partridge in a pear tree (so it seemed, at least).

Yeah I was like sausage? When the school had it for breakfast and she loved it so we do it at home now too. A lunch favorite that could be done at breakfast is a grilled cheese with ham or turkey in it. Her school does a great job of balanced meals so I let her try things there and incorporate it at home if she likes it.
I found in the freezer section a pasta with cheese sauce and peas. It's my lazy lunch. 4 mins in the microwave and I add extra veggies. It's her favorite.
My child eats about a fifth of what some of your LO's are eating! He normally chows down more as the day goes on. Common breakfasts for us are peanut butter waffle or toast, pancakes, and the Nature Valley soft oatmeal squares. If he eats more than a handful of Cheerios and some milk before he leaves for day care I'm impressed, but he normally gets second breakfast not long after he gets there. For lunch, I'm thankful he gets that at day care. If I need to send lunch for a grandma or he's eating different from us, he normally winds up with some leftovers, a hot dog, or some chicken fingers from the freezer with some fruit or whatever is around.

J usually eats a yogurt pouch for breakfast. She is a grazer, so we usually just have food out constantly for her and try to give her pouches when she seems more hungry. She usually has whatever we have for dinner or a little Gerber meal thing.

J usually has some sort of fruit, and a waffle, oatmeal, or mini pancakes. He wasn't really into eggs when we had them last week, but I'm going to try again this week.

+1 to the plum organics oatmeal. B loves it- esp. with fruit mixed in
I try and rotate through Blueberry/strawberry Eggo waffles, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, and cereal (mini wheats, Honey Nut Cheerios, Kix). Depending on the week I might through pancakes or French toast into the mix. Always served with some type of fruit or yogurt as well. He doesn't seem to care for peanut butter toast (or toast in general)
kemdupuis how do you like the ezpz mat? I keep thinking about getting one but haven't pulled the trigger yet.
We like it enough that we ordered a second
Ours is the mini- it fits on our high chair tray well. There is not a lot of extra space around the dish itself. I think I might get one of the original ones to use at restaurants and for when he is actually sitting at the table with us. The regular size has a lot more "mat" space, so I think it would be good to keep him from eating off grubby restaurant tables. I'd recommend it!
LO usually eats eggs, pancakes, and some sort of meat for breakfast on the weekend. He eats breakfast at daycare during the week. Both of my kids are big breakfast eaters. I am too
During the week L has a choice of cornflakes, rice crispies or shreddies with whole milk, followed by a finger of buttered toast and a finger of toast with honey. On Saturdays we all have porridge.
shahoi, we have never used baby cereals. Porridge has been one of L's favourites from very early on. We're always in a hurry on weekday mornings, which is why it's a Saturday treat!
The blueberry version of this and maybe 1/4 of a banana but both cannot be served at the same time.
DS is also particular about the order of his foods, and will not rotate between them. So for breakfast, if he's getting toast and strawberries, we have to give him the toast, then when he's not eating that anymore, the strawberries, because he'd never go back to toast after a strawberry. At dinner, he gets whatever veggie is being served, then protein, then starch. Once he moves on to a new food, he normally won't go back to a previous one again.

I feel like Mal hardly eats after reading what Yall wrote. We normally rotate blueberry frozen pancakes or cereal bar. With a side of Cheerios and fruit (sometimes).
carolyngrace, v has just developed a dislike of eggs. No clue why or how and it also makes me sad.
V likes French toast sticks with jelly, PB or butter smeared on top. We also do fruit smoothies, PB toast, and yogurt. On the weekends, I let her have a few Dunkin Donut munchkins.
