I'm in a wedding in October for one of my sorority sisters and her bachelorette party is this weekend in Las Vegas. At first I was a little sad I can't go bc I love Vegas and hardly ever get to see her anymore, etc. But after looking at their pics I am so glad I am not there! OMG that's not a speed I am remotely capable of going.
J did well at daycare today. The other kids love him. Work went ok. This is a new position and we are just kind of figuring it out as we go. I think it will be ok though.
Work was super busy today and the hours flew by. My pumping was less than ideal but I don't even care because I'll see my boys in an hour. Suck it, Monday.

Anyone else's baby like to kick themselves a lot? E has scratches all over her legs from kicking her legs together when nursing. Even with cut toenails.

V used to do this all the time until I got baby leggings. Cute + functional = sold!

First day went well! She took a full bottle and part of another. When I got there she was actually sleeping in the crib! She was on her side curled up with her blanket (that I slept with last night). I think each day will keep getting better. I can do this!

Yes!! In sort of a freak accident yesterday she gouged a chunk of the bottom of her foot out with a toenail. They weren't even that long!! Ouch, kid.

FFing moms, I am concerned that she is not eating enough ounces during the day. We bumped up to 5 oz bottles that she rarely finishes and we try to feed her every 3 hours but she just has no interest. Even with waking once or twice in the MOTN we struggle to feed 30 oz most days. Any suggestions?

Sounds like you're in a good spot.
We usually feed 28-30 ounces. Six 5 oz bottles or 4-5 ozs and 2- 4 oz bottles. My first never took more than a six ounce bottle. They'll eat if they're hungry. And if they get too much, they'll spit it up. I think I remember with my first that it was about the same. I never made more than my formula pitcher would hold for a day - so 28-30 ozs of water and 14/15 scoops of formula max.
ETA - First bottle around 6:30 am and last around 8:30/9 pm. If she does wake at night, it's usually for a wet diaper and then she goes back to sleep.

As LO is getting more active he sometimes forgets to eat. Or maybe loses interest. I try 6oz every 3-3.5hrs but sometimes he'll only eat 4oz. I hate making a full bottle and it going to waste. Especially if we are out in about and no where to keep it cool. I think she's fine. Just as others mentioned, if they are hungry they'll eat.
I feel like wrestling a distracted nurser is equal parts holding onto a greased pig and doing MMA fighting submission holds. It should be an Olympic sport, those that show the least nip wins.
Planned E's baby naming (Jewish tradition of giving baby girl her Hebrew name). Picked out this dress. Especially excited because I have the perfect diaper to match
Yeah...I'm still tired, like so exhausted I feel sick. I'm beginning to wonder if there's more to the exhaustion since it started a few weeks ago or if it really is just not STTN/getting up ridiculously early.

The laundry was out of control. I let it pile up the past 2 weeks. With my MIL being in the hospital, my aunt passing away, and finishing up my summer class I let it go. Today I attacked it and oh my! I just finished load #6.

Umm...could you be (whispering) pregnant?
I have the Mirena and tmi but sex has been lacking so I don't think so.
