Well as good as yesterday was, today was bad... LO basically screamed whenever I left the room all day. I pretty much only got stuff done while she was napping (thankfully good naps today). Part of me is sad that it wasn't a smooth transition and part of me is like yay, she loves me. Lol. I do hope it gets better!
Also, my mom is... Idk... Today she forwarded me an email that was so clearly a fishing scam to ask me if I thought it seemed legit to her. I was like really? Is there any chance this is a real thing? Come one, your better than that

Serious question for working moms. Do you actually get ready in the morning? I have had my hair in a bun for 5 months. Ain't nobody got time to blow-dry!! Sigh. Haha

I do everything I can at night including showering and blowing my hair out. I get up at 5am because I am doing everything by myself in the morning and I have to pump. No freaking way am I getting up earlier for slightly better hair.

Nope! But I've never been really into makeup and hair products. Hair goes into a ponytail and I go sans makeup. I manage to put some clothes on and get all my stuff together so I think that's good enough. .

Having thin hair helps, blow drying takes 3 minutes. Plus another minute to clean my shedding hair off the floor... More hair on the floor than my head these days.

I do, and use my hair straightener, but my hair dries really quickly.

I have the thickest of thick hair and can blow dry in 5 minutes if I flip it. Add another 5 to straighten it. I don't always straighten, but it looks like a frizz ball when I don't these days. I also wear no makeup most days, but I SAH.

... I don't believe you.
Ok, so I should have prefaced this with the fact that I usually sit with a towel on my head for half hour before blow drying. But yes. 5 minutes. If I try to dry it right out of the shower it takes longer.

Hair is always a mess. But, make up is a must. I love my make up. I even put my make up on right before going to the hospital to give birth

When I was working after my first, I would get up 2 hours before her to pump and then get myself ready. I usually would let my hair air-dry and brush it when I got to the office (my hair is super straight and thin). I always wore makeup. Now that I'm a SAHM, I still get up early (unless R is up earlier than usual) in order to shower and get ready for the day.

DH ran the dishwasher and washed a load of clothes today apparently I'm supposed to make a big deal about it and shout his wonderful was from the rooftops.

DH expects me to thank him 15 times for the things he does around the house. I'm lucky if he notices anything I do.

My DH loves to start laundry and leave it sitting in the washer until I finish it. And he thinks he's being such a big help and wants praise for it. No, dude. If I wanted to do all but the easiest step of laundry, I would just start it myself.

Yesss!! My husband also likes to fill the sink with soapy water, dump all the dirty dishes in, and leave. He calls that "doing the dishes". Um, no. Not even close.
DH took my car for an oil change and 30k maintenance and test drove a suv. I'm sure we will be discussing whether or not to go forward or not. We have a pretty decent cushion right now so I'm hesitant to get rid of that. At the same time, I kind of need AWD or 4WD to get to an from work in the winter and we need more space.
Just went to Michael's to get supplies for a new nursery project and they had NOTHING on my list. Wtf?! Are you a craft store or not?
Ugh. This happened to me a few weeks ago. I took the kids to 3 stores looking for like 7 specific things - I came home with 1 thing on my list and had to spend an hour that night shopping online anyway. Never again! I'm just ordering online from now on.

So annoying!!!! It's not even a crazy list. I mean they literally didn't have pink tissue paper.
