We're trying to decide whether or not to putt DD (2 years old) in nursery school. They had a spot open up but it is full time and we were hoping for just 2 or 3 days a week. Part of me wants to send her because it would probably be fun and would give me time to spend with the baby in the morning, but part of me feels guilty because I wouldn't be sending her if she was still an only child. But then I feel badly because we haven't been getting out to do stuff because of DS's unpredictable nap schedule. Sorry, I'm rambling now!
I feel so much better since I decided to move back to my old district. I'm not nearly as stressed out. I'm bringing a friend with me too!
Did anyone have thyroid issues PP? Mine has always been fine, but the exhaustion has me wondering. Also, I'm on medication because my heart rate is too high (up to 175 without the meds). With the meds it used to average in the 80s. All of a sudden it's in the 60s and I'm getting dizzy.
It can't hurt to get it tested. I would definitely get in to see your doctor about the dizziness.

If you can do it, I would. You will feel so much more free and she will get to socialize!

About the heart rate, you should cal your dr. How long have you been on it? Maybe your body is still adjusting, but that's really low.
The tiredness, did you have anemia while pregnant?
I'll call on Monday. I know something isn't right. I've been on the Metoprolol for a couple of years and have never had any problems until now.
I was slightly anemic at the very end of my pregnancy, but asymptomatic.

J wasn't going to sleep and staying asleep because apparently she had to poop... Now that she has, we have an overtired baby who is having a hard time going to sleep.

Took E to the Pedi today to make sure he didn't have an ear infection since he's been congested and coughing all week. He spit up on me right as the dr walked in and I didn't have a burp cloth. Since he was down to his diaper for the checkup, i used hid pants to clean off mt arm. The doctor gave me the best look ever. Moty.

Oh man. I can't go anywhere without 3 burp cloths and at least 3 bibs. My kid pukes so much...

Crafty people... how hard would it be to replace all the velcro on K's bibs with snaps? Am I totally kidding myself in thinking I can do this? I'm so farking sick of velcro and it ruining stuff.

very easy. It took me like 2 practice tries to get the hang of snaps and then it's really easy. I love my snap gun thing! I have the KAM snap thing and snaps. It does the baby snaps but was better reviewed than the babyville on Amazon

Do you have a link to the one you have on Amazon? I'm gonna go for it. I just pulled all the velcro off one bib as a trial and I can do this!

Also, if anyone has any super easy bib patterns... send them my way please. I want to try to make some too since I still have extra fabric from what I ordered to make K's headband holder.

Are they ruining things in the wash or during drying? I put all of mine in lingerie bags and I've only had it happen one or two times where they escape the zipper. I learned this the hard way when I had one and a muslin blanket get close.
Chase was a wreck on our drive home from Boston today, and then again before bed tonight. He screamed for a solid 1/2 hour, wouldn't nurse, and his poor voice was getting all scratchy. He finally started passing out so I was able to nurse him for a bit, but he's certainly not done for the night. Poor kiddo, he was so miserable.

While I was busy hostessing the baby shower and taking care of Bud, I walked through a conversation about antivaxxers and vitamin k and eye drops. I am not sure the degree to which people were pro or against and couldn't stay, but stated very clearly on my way through the room that vitamin K and eye drops are necessary to prevent brain bleeding, etc., and that we are a pro vaccine family and Bud is getting any and all.
I think my SIL was talking about the Hep B being optional since it was only acquired as an STD. Err. I better see if H knows the scoop before I make a decision on bringing it up with her.
