Leave him. My pediatrician always said if they get their on their own, they are protected by being strong enough.
Also it might help him sleep better in the long run.
He's an awesome sleeper (knocks wood). I have a LOT of sleep feels since I have lifelong sleep issues. I made the nurses in the hospital stop swaddling him because he was flipping and he likes his hands. For the most part I like to just roll with the punches but the belly thing just really threw me through a loop. Because he's new, I just expect him to be a lump. When he does things I get the confuse lol
Congratulations pttomato youdontsay, first I want to TP your OB. I'm so sorry about YH using his job and the additional stress it is causing. FX he finds another position soon. kokopelli, how scary about your baby. I can imagine the stress of her surgery, in addition to caring for 3 other children.
Wednesday is my last day of work before maternity leave. I feel so distracted and unfocused that aim not sure I want to be one of my patients now. Everyone in my office, including patients, has been so supporting and caring. I am fortunate to work with such wonderful people.
Hugs to everyone who needs them. Sorry if I missed someone who needs a s/o, too many posters to comment on. Apologies.
Yesterday at brunch I had a gagging spell reminiscent of the first trimester. Someone sitting near us was served sausage with an odor that caused me to leave the table, run outside and dry heave in the bushes. Mind you the outside temp was over 100. Please, please, baby come very soon.

Ughhhh My belly hurts so bad I think that me eating like a normal human again over the past week is catching up to me right now. And I'm sure I'm pushing myself too hard now that I'm home.
Tomorrow I rest. (I'm putting this here because I feel like if I tell you guys, I'll do it for real)
kokopelli omg how scary! Hoping for a fast recovery and that she's home tomorrow.
@sueposa DD was never a lump either, she was always moving.
I'm kind of ready to be done work except my last day isn't until next Tuesday. If one more patients asks me why I'm still allowed to work I'm gonna scream. And then ask if I plan "to retire" after the baby?! Umm..this is the U.S. So not maternity leave until after baby and I need to continue to work. Also today a patient asked me how much weight I gained. My response was "what I'm suppose to" to which she asked "so how much." I just said I don't know but my doctor is worried. Granted these are all 80 year old women but still I'm over it!
