Ugh, I wish. Little miss likes to pass out before burping but then she spits up in her sleep. So of course I spend a lot of time listening to her sleep and freaking out that she'll choke on spit up.
We are having the same issue. She won't burp even when she's awake and it's causing a lot more spit up. Daycare has noticed she's spitting up more too. Ugh.
M is on a mega sleep strike. He basically hasn't slept for more than half hour at a time all night. H feels bad for giving me a hard time and was trying to take the whole night to make up for it, but at 3:45 I insisted on taking over.
We just had a really fun change all the clothes and blankets kind of blow out diaper change. Really hoping to get her back into bed as there's a very slight chance to sleep in past 7 today. We will see!
Oh yeah, when H got home and showered I was pretty much asleep. He told me he killed a centipede in the bathroom. I am so scared of those, I feel queasy just typing the word. I dreamed our living room was full of them. Yuck yuck yuck.
Oh man, I don't know what's going on with my kids' sleep this week but I'm over it. They normally go down in their cribs around 9:30/10. Tonight it took until 12:30!!! They better make up for it by giving us a long stretch.
DD was actually sleeping well until DH came to bed in our room and starting coughing and woke her up. Then it startled her every time he coughed while she was eating.
I feel bad that he's not feeling well, but I really hope he doesn't continually wake her up.

Baby's been doing that "wake up to eat every two hours" since 9, and the rest of the time is snuffling and grunty. I can barely sleep anyway with so much on my mind.

Hope you got that long stretch!
Our nights have been like that for a while now. Baby refuses to sleep between 8 and 1. Then sleeps till 630. I appreciate the long stretch but really think I'd rather be up every 2 hours and be able to get her to sleep at 8pm.
We had a busy day and a late bedtime, but she slept from 9:30 - 3:30. Then I was too tired to sit and feed her and wait for her to go back to sleep, so I went straight to side lying nursing on the couch. Slept that way until 7

After not sleeping all day DD finally slept! She went down at 11 and didnt wake up until 3:30 to eat!! It was blissful after the nap strike she's been on since 2am.
Me (30) MH (32) Dx: MFI (low all the things) M. 10/11. TTC Since 01/14 IUI#1-3(Letrozole + Trigger) = BFN Second Opinion. Changed RE's. IVF 09/15 Long Lupron 12R/9M/8F, Transferred 1=BFN. 4 frosties. FET #1 12/15 Transferred 1 (3 still on ice)
After my complaint in randoms about how DS won't sleep independent of me, he went a nice long stretch. While this was after an hour+ meltdown of screaming, I'll take it. However he slept next to me and someone ended up on his side/stomach, so that kinds of sucks if that's the only way he'll sleep great. However all his sleep was interrupted by a sick DD who was crying. Even though DH was on DD duty I could still hear her.

Mine have all been side sleepers too
Do you put DD on her side now or let her get into that position herself?
Does anyone have any tips for transitioning out of the swaddle? It's 12:08 and she really hasn't even gone down for the night, it's not going well. My older two never liked being swaddled so this is new for me.
I just swaddled her with one arm in/ one arm out so I'm hoping that will help so I can finally get some rest.

I have the Merlin Magic Sleepauit and the ZipadeeZip. I like the Zippy best, but DD3 somehow got it over her face so we went back to the swaddle. I think the problem is that we have fleece Zippies that bunch up and DD3 is on the smallest end of the size chart. I borrowed a knit one that did not do that.

Tough night with the coffee baby as well. Girl misses her daddy's swaddle abilities and is pissed she can move her hands!
He gets home Friday. I need to learn his tech hi when before he leaves again in two weeks.
Also, s2 is having bad dreams tonight and narrates them loudly so I just can't win. They're funny at least. "No! You can't have a sip of my chocolate milk!"

I was in the exact same boat (husband had to do the swaddling) until I got the miracle blanket! It seriously is so easy and works amazingly well.

Baby went to sleep at like 7:30 and just woke now. Boulder boobs - but I have zero interest or motivation to pump while she's doing one of her long stretches. I hope I'm not messing with my supply because of this, but I also just can't see myself going to the lengths I did with DS to keep bfing. My left side is so painful, I hope she doesn't fall asleep before draining it!!
