Where did August go?!
DS and I are on our own today and tomorrow. Dh will at least be home tonight. We are doing lunch with my mom, brother and SIL today then my mom is going with us to shop for bar stools. We have 2 and Dh and I are tired of standing at dinner so it's time for at least one more. I also need to find one more crate for my set of crate shelves, but there is bad flooding by the Michaels that I need to get it from.

I'm here!
We have a fantasy football draft tonight and H invited one of the other guys over for it. So I'll be cleaning the house off and on today. Nothing like expecting some company to motivate you to clean your house!

I'm running errands this morning and then going to visit a friend. I took the car to the district inspection station and it passed but...I don't actually think they tested it. It should take maybe 10 minutes (it's just emissions so they put it on blocks and press the gas for a while). It was ready in less than the time it takes to go pee. There's no way they could've even got it set up on the collection station. Oh well, it's off my to do list regardless.
ladytiffany24 company always gets me off my butt to clean.
I'm going to a kids birthday party this morning and I'm realizing it's the first one I've been to as an adult. Not many friends have had kids yet! I'm hoping it's fun and that there's cake. I have a suspicion that these things are more fun when you have your own kid to bring along.

My mom's coming over for some 'lena hours, as she calls it, and my husband and I are going to test drive some cars! We're not buying for a while but we want to narrow our focus. Then we'll probably do lunch. Wee!

I realized last night that I smell like a teenager. I am one of those every-other-day shower people and I think I need to move to daily at a minimum. Yesterday I took 2.

I feel ya. Tmi: I'm changing my underwear a lot and I should get 2 showers a day, it's so gross.
@amc25 Scary! I passed out twice during my last pregnancy...once while proctoring a state exam. It freaked me out, but it got me out of proctoring again :-)
kristhegirl Oooo test driving cars is so much fun! I think we are going to buy a van sometime in the next few months. I don't want to give up my current car though!
Our 10 month old (very big) puppy ran full speed into DD right before bedtime last night, knocking her flat on her back on the hardwood floor. I was MAD, to say the least. I physically threw him outside, which was nicer than what I really wanted to do to him. I'm getting sick of him taking her out. She screamed for about 10 mins but then returned to playing. She seems ok, but a bit cranky today.
DH got home from work at 3am, DD woke up at 4am and didn't go back down until 6. I thought maybe she'd sleep later b/c of this, but she was still up at 7 for the day. Then I caught my own vomit in my hands...so that's how my morning went!
We drove an hour just to get coffee from a coffee trailer we saw featured on our local news. It was AMAZING so that was a win. When DD wakes up from her nap we are heading to Home Depot to finalize flooring choices for our basement!
@amc25 that is so scary I know fainting can happen during pregnancy but maybe a quick call to the OB nurse to let them know? Hoping you feel right as rain soon

Yes the body odor and fluids are real!!! I'm wearing my H's deodorant and showering constantly, I feel like. I forgot about this sweaty, swamp crotch stage lol.
@amc25 How scary! I hope the rest of your day is peaceful! I would probably call the OB to let them know about it--losing consciousness for even just a second just seems like the kind of thing you want to tell your doc.
