Awhile back I posted about adjusting to the nanny, etc... I just wanted to update that things are really great now. Today is a bad day, but even sill it's better than it was and most days are good now. She really likes the nanny, and LOVES the nanny's daughter (it was absolutely the right choice for us to go with someone who wanted to bring their LO). The girls playing together are so cute! Most days I feed her and put her down/pick her up from naps and play with her for a little at lunch and other than that she just stays with the nanny!
Also re-doulas: our birth and PP doula never checked back in after and I thought it was kinda weird... Then a few weeks ago she sent a bcc email asking for reviews. I gave her a good one bc I loved her, but still thought it was weird not to say hey what's up how's LO.
My chiro from while I was preg, checked in on us 2ce after LO was born!

I'm napping with E today and she started crying after about 1.5 hours. I finally figured out she needed to burp so sat her up, and puked everywhere, I lay her back on me while we wait for dd1 to wake up and she immediately fell right back asleep. This is a record. Normally even napping with her she only sleeps 40 minutes.
Okay, here's a random question: anyone have luggage recommendations? I'm going to be preparing to go back to school and need to buy a new suitcase fit for the task of carrying my life but also not going to cause me to pay extra on the overseas flight--so hardy, large, and light. Easily transportable and pretty are pluses.
My previous suitcase (1960's powder blue luggage from Goodwill) kicked the bucket when I was pregnant and moving abroad by myself last year which was not ideal. Especially wandering around old cobblestone streets with a broken suitcase while trying to read a pathetic street map while jet lagged and bloated was not cool.
We have had great luck with American Tourister from Target. Affordable, lightweight, and pretty durable!

Thank you! I'll check out if my local one has some!

In the ER with Isaac. He had another respiratory episode but this time the nebulizer isn't improving anything. I am trying to not panic. He is resting now but I am so worried.

My mom is coming today!!! First visitors!!! Also hopefully she can just pick out the rest of our furniture and decorations. lol.
Also our table which was supposed to be "30 days or less" is 2 weeks late and our couch which was supposed to take 3 months is coming tomorrow. Excited for that but where is my table!
So one of our aussies got hurt yesterday. One of his back legs got gnarled up pretty bad. I took him to the vet (w B that was fun), and they gave us some antibiotics, pain pills & cleaner with instructions to keep him quiet & dry/clean.
I feel bad for the poor guy. I know he's hurting, but he's also pretty dramatic about any & all injuries. Like magnifies them 10 fold. He's going to milk this for all it's worth & more. (and I'll go along w it)
Any better today?
He's doing much better; thanks. He goes back for a checkup tomorrow.
