H and I cleared out 2 huge bags of things from our closet and donated them. I've been in a declutter mood and I'm really digging getting rid of so much stuff!
That feels so good mrsmonogrammed! I have a bag of clothes myself I was going to try to remember to drop off today!
I scored this cute bed frame for DD off a friend on our local buy and sell! $50 and they are going to drop it off for us today so we don't need to borrow anyone's truck! We don't plan on switching her anytime soon and we'll still need to get a mattress and bedding but a deal is a deal and it will save us some good money and I'm just really excited this is what we were able to get for her!

tiffbot I was JUST talking to H about a big girl bed for C! I want to start looking around so we can find a good deal. I'm also considering asking for big girl bedding for Christmas for her, but haven't pulled the trigger on it yet because I still want to keep her in her crib as long as possible;)
LO had his 15 month check up this morning. Got 2 shots and cried, but took them better than last time. 22lbs (50th), 31inches (60th). That bad news is we need to scale back milk/bottles (which I already knew). She said 16oz a day is recommended and LO is having 30ish. The time has come to bite the bullet on this one, I'm afraid.
I need to buy new pants for work but am seriously having issues committing to some after spending more time than I should have this morning online browsing. It seems like there aren't any good deals - maybe I just need to wait a few more days to get closer to Labor Day? I hate buying clothes for myself now, I'd so much rather go shopping for DS - I never thought this would happen pre-baby!

jillywilly today agree that it's more fun to shop for baby- they always look cute! Finding clothes to fit myself is not nearly as fun;) Where have you been looking for work pants?

Banana Republic and The Limited are usually my go-to's for work pants, but neither is having a sale that really makes it worth it right now. The Limited has 40% off pants, which I'd probably do, but you have to spend $125 for free shipping and I HATE paying for shipping, but also didn't really want to spend that much money right now, when I just need another pair of pants or two. I'd drag DS out shopping on Friday with me, but it's impossible to find tall sizes in the stores most of the time, so I always just buy online, and return in store if necessary.
Mostly, I just hate buying pants and feel the need to complain about about it.
C is going through some sort of fuckawful sleep regression. Dh and I have only gotten a total combined 4 hours of sleep a night for days now. I might actually die. If I do, don't send flowers, just pour some champagne on my grave, ok?

jillywilly , I love The Limited for work pants too but what about NY&company? Do they sell tall?
I forgot about NY & Co - I used to love them! They closed the store that was local to me a couple years ago, but I know a lot of places offer free online returns too, so I may check into that.
Good morning! Enjoying a latte and some family paw patrol time.
H and I planned a trip to Vancouver mid October to visit family. His sister is having a baby due sept 19th. I'm excited to see her and meet their little girl.
We finally reclaimed our bed last night by moving LO into her own bed. It's an ikea twin bed that is floor level. She slept so much better then cosleeping with us. The downside is DS has to share his room with her now which he was not happy about and woke up screaming about it at 2am. The again at 3am😡

Woohoo @poppyc8 thats great news! Well the first part.
I woke H up at 3 am after I got A back to sleep so we could go out and watch the aurora. It was a cloudless night finally and it was out pretty good. Lots of greens and even some purple. I need to dig out my camera so I can actually take some pictures.

I am totally having one of "those" mornings. BH woke up at the same time as me, so instead of showering and getting ready I was nursing for over an hour. (I can't wait till his last molar comes in) this in turn had me scrambling to get out of the house this morning and dumping my lunch all over the kitchen floor.
O was up from 1145-1230 last night then I didn't fall back to sleep around 1. My mother informed me that he has a low grade fever, again, and she really wants me to take him to the doctor. So I'll be rushing home from work to do that. My only planning today was 30 minutes with the other music teacher. Admin indirectly let us know that they don't trust us to plan on our own so we have to plan with one another. And, just in case, we need to document it. Seriously? Blarg. I have a feeling that I will greatly need my Fridays off this year. In happy news, I'm wearing my eshakti dress today and have gotten probably 50 compliments on it already. I need to order more!
I've been waiting for this moment all day. Get in my belly, bbq chicken pita pizza. We are eating lunch like 30 mins earlier than normal because I couldn't wait.
You totally convinced me to get pizza for lunch now. That looks delish.
We've been sick and super busy the past few days so I haven't been able to log-in. I didn't have work on Friday and G and I slept until 9, the power went out shortly after and we fell back asleep until 12! Saturday we had 2 parties to go to for H's side of the family, an hour away. Long day, but it was nice. And Sunday we had already planning on going to Great America (amusement park) with my nephew (my mom won free tickets that expire in a few days) and then my brother, wife, and the other 2 kiddos ending up coming too. It was so much fun but we stayed way later than expected and it just made G and me more sick. So I woke up feeling terrible yesterday and didn't go to work. I'm back to work today, still not feeling great, but it's a short week (not working this Friday because I have a wedding to coordinate) so I really needed to come in.
Looking forward to this long weekend though, hoping we'll make a lot of headway on selling, donating, throwing away stuff to get ready for our move! It's all happening pretty quickly!
belle0720 when you said you were looking forward to the long weekend my first thought was "damn, I want a long weekend" and then I remembered! Labor Day woot woot!

Well, crap. H left work early because his stomach was bothering him. The dog, who is prone to stomach issues, tried eating grass and didn't eat her carrot I left her at lunch - so she's not feeling good. I'm really hoping both these issues just kind of go away without too much puking, and hopefully leave DS and me unscathed.
We're going to check out a ymca and h wants to get ice cream. Mm. I ordered more shit on carters this morning because mil saw the sale and wanted me to get some things. Shopping for LO is definitely more fun!

Our dog is prone to stomach issues too. We bought this powdered mix at the pet store that you mix w water then mix into their food. It's pumpkin and ginger. It has really helped.

I tweaked my upper back or something and it is not so comfortable to sit at my desk right now. I wish I could just go home and sleep, but I don't have very much PTO, so I am going to tough it out. At least I have coffee.

So, with my sister already living there and with my parents getting ready to move there in 3 weeks, DH and I are seriously considering moving to Kentucky. We're going in 2 weeks to check it out (he's never been) and to look at some houses. I think I really love this one. What do you guys think?
