DH did the dishes last night, and it makes me so happy.
But he did them because he wouldn't put a blanket on the bed last night, he didn't think it'd get cold enough, and he ended up cuddling with me to the point I think he was laying on part of me because he was so cold. I woke up yesterday and my side was just killing me.
Today, I feel like it's worse, cue freaking out. It literally feels like a giant bruise from my armpit to my hip, and I can't stand up straight. I don't know if I pulled some muscles or what.

mosdub I make my own mayo with eggs from a local farm, and eat it. And feed it to my 13-month old. I trust local eggs way more than commercial eggs when consuming them undercooked or raw. Runny yolk is proof that god loves us and wants us to be happy.
mosdub - I would eat those without a second thought. And they look delicious!
ugaqueencity - I have similar feelings. I think a lot of my family/friends expect this to be a girl because we already have a boy and that kind of irritates me. I just want a healthy baby out of this and really don't care about the sex, so I don't know why other people do!
Happy weekend all! We're trading DH's car in this morning and then I'm hoping to watch the Penn State v. Pitt game while DS naps. This is the first time I've really missed booze since my BFP. I would love a beer to go with the game!

My weekend is being spent on the couch. On call OB called back and said not to worry at the moment. I had some bleeding around 7 weeks so she thinks this could be related to that and it's still trying to resolve itself. Back on pelvic rest I go and I'll spend the next 2 days at least taking it easy.
I decided to skip eggs and go waffles/bacon instead. The eggs are probably fine, but given that I'm already a ball of anxiety I'll just skip the needless worry and do scrambled.

erinshelley21 this is obviously just anecdotal, but I had sudden bleeding with cramping at about 8 weeks. Really scary. Baby was trucking away in there, and the bleeding slowly want to brown over about a week. I also (tmi) passed a significant clot at that time. I went to the ER when it started and they determined it was an SCH.
I've had two spotting episodes since, neither of them close to the scary first one in terms of volume, but both that start as red blood. It is scary. I've had two appointments since, and that little heartbeat is still just beating away and baby continues to grow. My midwife said i could have bleeding for the rest of my pregnancy, or it could go away as suddenly as it began.
Just sharing my experience, hopefully to help ease your mind. I had no bleeding or issues with my first pregnancy so this was new and alarming, to say the least.

Clara woke up at 6:30 talking to herself! I think she is finally on the mend of her cold. I am still sick but I slept better! I didn't really want to get up even though it was my day so MH did! Love the man! But seriously wish I could take something for this cold! It isn't even really fall yet!
I'm 11 weeks today! I'm still not "showing" aside from extra flub but when I lean forward in my chair I notice I feel a bit "fuller" down in my pelvis. I'm hoping this is a good sign that the ute is growing and coming up.
When were many of you able to feel the hard top of the uterus? If I lay down and feel I sometimes think I can feel it, but not sure if it's really made an appearance yet.

I'm so thankful that I waited until just a few weeks ago to start watching The Mindy Project. I love this show! It's making my couch weekend so much better.
mosdub I think I was able to feel the top of my uterus sometime between 12 and 14 weeks last pregnancy. I'm 13-ish weeks right now and I definitely felt it this morning right after having sex. Lol. It's much easier to feel where your uterus is right after orgasm because it will contract slightly due to the release of oxytocin, making it feel firmer than the surrounding organs when you palate your abdomen.
I remember that from my last pregnancy! It scared me at first but once I read it was normal it was kind of fun to be able to feel exactly where the uterus was after some fun times

Dh brought me some laundry to fold on the couch before I left. The dog just kicked my nice pile of clothes into the floor so he could lay on the couch. He has been such a dickhead today.

@priss08 it won't be fun, but it will be okay! Your doctor may prescribe you some medication since a high fever can be dangerous, but it will be okay. Definitely call them.
Sorry @priss08 Call your doc and see what things they can prescribe to help. Load up on some gatorade and chicken noodle soup. Hope it passes quickly for you.
erinshelley21 I had a Pap smear at 9.5 weeks, and my doctor said my cervix was really irritated in general. I am on self imposed pelvic rest bc spotting scares me too much, but she said we would definitely have spotting with sex. Not sure if you have recently, but it could be that. After the Pap smear, I had bleeding (with small colts) for a couple of days.
Also- totally an anecdote- but I also had red bleeding at 10 weeks that was from an SCH. I've seen the baby twice since then, and she is doing fine!
Hope you are able to rest this weekend!
AFM- I went to the mall to shop maternity clothes. I don't really fit into maternity clothes, but my regular clothes don't really fit either. I'm pretty frustrated in general. Also- all the cute clothes were pretty pricey! I tried on some cheap stuff and it looked even worse. I'm going to order some stuff online and hope for the best. With sizing, do we remain the same size as we get bigger? Or do I have to buy a couple rounds of maternity Clothes?
