If you don't like the culture of GKU, participate, start threads, change it. Piling on, telling us we are childish, or being sarcastic (without even reading the thread) are not helpful, conducive to change, or beneficial to the community.
And if you really don't like it, GTFO.
I'd love to see more threads on TTC topics. I'd love to not have been here for a year and a half and part of the "same 5 people posting all the time." I'd love more people to come here and hang out with us, whether TTC the first time or the tenth. I can't change it by myself, and I sure as fuck don't appreciate being lumped in like one tiny group of bitter, unwelcoming, snarky bitches.
And RTMFT.
But in all seriousness, I get that nothing will change without participation. I'd love to, I just never have much time. I'll make a better effort. I guess part of the reason I've fallen away is because I haven't been actively TTC for a LONG time, and have nothing to contribute, except my glowing personality.
the other part is... I know MANY posters that were once very active and "graduated" haven't made the transition back for fear of almost exactly what happened here. I honestly am not being mean, but I know that they don't feel comfortable or welcome back just because they may say something about their child, and be told they are shoving their child in others faces. I get that they need to be "sensitive" to the other posters, but sometimes they feel it's like they can't talk freely. Hell, just because they are coming back for round 2, 3 or 4, doesn't mean they will have it easy TTC this go round either. They could be in the same boat as us that have been here for YEARSSSSSSSS this time.
There's always been a debate on grads posting where, what can and can't be said, blah blah blah.
We're not all always going to agree. I can't tell you what to do, and you can't tell me what to do. We're going to call each other out, voice our opinions, disagree, agree, laugh, cry, flame, support......all of these things. This is what we do. I'll tell you when your wrong, and you tell me (but I'll never believe you) haha.
