So awhile back we bought a convertible car seat from target when they were doing a gift card deal, between that and gift cards we got a really nice deal on it.
Now babies r us is doing their trade in event. H is determined that we trade in an old expired car seat we've been storing. My question is should I get another (maybe a smaller?) convertible car seat with the coupon? So that way eventually we can have one in each vehicle? Or just turn it in and give the coupon to someone.
It's going to be a long night. My phone is almost dead, I have way too much adrenaline to sleep, and I can't get her to sleep anywhere but on me. Not that I'm complaining about that at the moment. But there's no comfy recliner to make it more tolerable. Right now we're on the shitty pull out and she's laying in my arms. I never want to look away. Ugh. Of all nights to not have access to my anxiety meds this is not the one!

Hugs friend I can only imagine. I hope that you can get some sort of rest. Is YH there too? Could He get meds for you?

No, he went home to sleep so he could be useful tomorrow. The hospital is far enough away from home that it didn't make sense for him to come back tonight. Rama is here with me for support.

We're you going to transfer the car seat between cars? DNW. Get a second one.

babycaps - IIRC helloerrbody had some kind of way of getting domperidone. Or I'm way off. But maybe she can help?
teraiin - second convertible, hands down. They're a PITA to install or move.
@led - can the hospital pharmacy look up your prescription and get you at least a dose or two of your medication? We've had them do it with DDs meds while we wait for her mail order full order to come. Wouldn't hurt to ask anyways. Also, I'd order a new charger on Amazon Now and have one delivered if I were desperate. It may be an option. Hospitals stink.
You guys are sweet. I am but your friendly neighborhood Rama, it is not a laud-worthy thing.
R had a fairly uneventful night, despite dodging sleep as much as possible. The vitals every 4 hours didn't help. We're looking forward to getting home soon.
Thank you, mrssqueegy!! My leftover stash is only enough for 4-5days! Talking to my family about hooking me up with some more, but at the same time I keep reminding myself that FED is best and that IF he needs 6oz of formula a day it is really not a bad thing. I just have to live with some disappointment of feeling like my body failed I was formula fed! I am smart, healthy and very happy (99% of the time).

I think those feelings are 100% normal. Realistically if you looked at two healthy babies you'd have no idea how they are fed. Your lo will be getting mostly breastmilk and all of the benefits of it!
