So glad you are home @led. Praying everyone gets some rest tonight. Your strength amazes me all the time.
This kid. Finally asleep for the first time since noon thirty. That would be about 9 hours awake with zero sleep. This is so unlike him. So curious about what tonight brings.
Wow that's s long time awake. Did he get cranky at all?
Well, DD decided to take off running up the street. DH chased after her (against my advice) and he discovered why I don't run after sunset without a headlamp. He met up with a chunk of sidewalk with a 3" raise from the one he was on and ate shit.

Well this bodes well. I woke up with a muscle spasm in my neck, a splitting headache, congestion, and nausea. So in other words I'm s hot mess the one day I absolutely have to go to the first service lol

yes!!! Baby boy needed all kinds of comfort nursing, but the kind where he gets mad milk is coming out. Haha. I blame having company over. I probably allowed others to hold him longer than they should have. I stretched his needs out too long then he was just too excited, distracted, tired, hungry to have self control. Bad part is, the in laws are expecting a visit today...
Woke up every 3 hours to nurse. You bet I'm reading every AP article I can find on the sleep regression topic. They're harder to find.
How do you CIO when lo is crying for the pacifier? It is the only time he cries while going to sleep. I pop that bad boy in and he's quiet until he manages to knock it out of his mouth again.
Oh teraiin I feel for you. Are you doing anything afterwards or just going home? I'd be having the longest nap ever if I were you!
I didn't get on here at all yesterday! We are out of town so I was busy, busy!
Sorry for the sleep woes! I think (***knocks on wood) we are finally out of it! DD has woken up once at 5:00am the past few nights.... I'm a little worried AF might return though if this is the only wake up. Anyone know how that works?

A overate this morning and projectile vomited at least 4 ounces all over both of us. She seems fine, so I think it was just a fluke. Still an awfully Monday-esque start to a Sunday.

It varies a lot from person to person, but anecdotally J stopped nursing at night around 2 months old and AF didn't come back until 6 months PP. For me it didn't make a difference.
westiemom it totally varies. Ds1 ate through the night until he was 11 months but once he started solids and his day time nursing slowed down a bit af came back. Probably around 7 or 8 months. Some people get it despite nursing, some don't get it until they wean completely.

westiemom, same as what has been mentioned. It totally depends. AF didn't return for me with DD until I weaned completely at 15 months. But she was still nursing at least once nightly at that point. DS is pretty much STTN already for the most part (knock on wood) but no signs of it yet.
DH and FIL are doing some work on the house. I went outside to see if they wanted something to drink because it's hot and humid today. They were both sort of snippy.
So when I was putting in my earrings today I realized one side was prett much closed. Boo and ouch.
Looks like I will be wearing earrings almost daily for awhile Lol
I dobthat every time I put earrings in. But I only wear them for special occasions and have since I was 11 or 12 and they still haven't closed completely. And we're talking like once a year maybe, more likely once every few years. Haha

Yeah mine have never actually closed but today my ear bled when I finally got the earring in. Ouch! I don't remember it ever bleeding before so I wonder if it was actually close to closing. 😳

The children might drive me to the edge of insanity today. The baby is tired and fussy, drooling up a storm, so he's probably teething. EVERY time I have him asleep or almost asleep, DS1 does something noisy that wakes him up. I tried going in a different room, but he came in there saying he wanted to take a nap too and would not stay still or be quiet. DH can't get home from work soon enough.
