The children might drive me to the edge of insanity today. The baby is tired and fussy, drooling up a storm, so he's probably teething. EVERY time I have him asleep or almost asleep, DS1 does something noisy that wakes him up. I tried going in a different room, but he came in there saying he wanted to take a nap too and would not stay still or be quiet. DH can't get home from work soon enough.

DS has been nursing pretty much every hour during the day for the last few days. It's crazy. But his nights have been pretty good and his weight seems to be going up more...
He's gained almost 3 pounds in school slightly less than two months. (About 2 ounces less than 3 pounds) which is a much better gain than between his 1 month and 2 month appointment if I'm remembering correctly.
Back when we had our baby shower for Ry I got a ton of target gift cards so we brought them to the store and put them all on one card ... Well we totally lost the card and it had like over $300 on it ... There weren't very many places it could have been but we couldn't find it anywhere well today I found it!!!! Man I was so glad when I saw it!

That's awesome that he's gaining so much! Grow baby grow!

Oh what a relief!!! I hate when things like that happen!
Poor A threw up three times today, but otherwise seems fine. The nurse on call with our doctor's office said that it's probably a stomach bug that is going around but usually only lasts 8-24 hours. She suggested feeding her small doses of pedialyte with a syringe for a while, which A did not care for. After a few hours we had a couple of short nursing sessions spaced about half an hour apart and she kept the milk down. FX it was just that short lived stomach bug.

My A had a bug like that when he was 6ish months old. Seeing a baby vomit is the most sad, pathetic little thing ever! Hope your A gets over it quickly!

Side effect of nursing every hour during the day for 3+ days. DS has been sleeping for three hours and I'm already feeling uncomfortably engorged and leaking. Part of me would love to go downstairs and pump a little bit.
But I'm lazy and also not inclined to mess with things too much lol I will just stick to my normal pumping. As tempting as a few extra ounces to freeze sounds lol
R was so fussy, so I took her to bed at 8:30. I'm really hoping she's down for the night, because if she gets back up that likely means she'll be up past midnight. DNW.

DD sleeps in the PNP next to our bed. Her new favorite thing to do when she's awake and/or hungry is to repeatedly slam her legs loundly into the mattress. She also growls while getting obviously very pissed off that her paci is not producing milk. God she's a stubborn little thing. Just go to sleep!
DS was doing that... One of the reasons why I switched him to his crib. The slamming was driving me crazy ahaha!

Fx she's down for ththe night and you can rest!
I don't know how much sleep I'll actually get. I'm still wide awake from all the coffee I had earlier. Plus I can't hear her breathing over the sound of the AC, so that's making me anxious, but I just need to learn to deal with that I guess.
It doesn't help that it's only 9:30 and I'm in bed because if I get up she's more likely to wake up. But at least I'm able to rest this way!

Me, too! As soon as Ridley is done eating I'm getting up for a bit to pee and get a snack. I'm hoping taking a break from trying to force myself to sleep will help.
