I'm drinking my coffee late and don't have the brain power to come up with a clever title.
I had my first weird pregnancy dream last night. I was having an affair. I don't know who the guy was, but I do know that he was also a firefighter. I've been watching too much Desperate Housewives because it seemed a lot like Bree's affair with Karl.
I'm crabby today- just so tired! Coffee also makes me feel nauseous. I was drinking sugar free red bull everyday until I noticed the big "not recommended for pregnant people" in bold on the back. (Just yesterday- in the middle of my 14th week. Sigh. I am bad at being pregnant.)

Morning, glories! I hope everyone has a good day. Not much planned here. I might start going through DS's clothes and picking out stuff we can reuse for this baby. I hope she likes stripes.
I am in class this morning, studying Diabetes. I just put together my plan to pre-study for boards and I am gong to be BUSY until 39 weeks when I plan to take it (please God let me go to term).
It was actually slightly cool out this morning and it made me so happy I hope it is unusually cold this fall for Texas.
Morning. One more week until I get my teens back. I miss them! My dh put his hands on my belly this morning and says, ".. are you going to kick me?" Made me smile.
Today.. nothing planned. No car, so maybe some coloring? Alexandria got ahold of a pen two days ago and was finding random paper to draw on. Hopefully it actually only gets to 87 degrees today. It's been over 100 the last three days. Yuck! Right now, I just want to head somewhere cooler and enjoy .. ya know.. fall? Oh SoCal.. why did I have to fall in love with a California boy?

I feel better today, even though I still have a sore throat and some stuffiness. I leave for my work trip in an hour - I've been warned it is coooold where we're headed (the project leads are already there). So I need to find a jacket, I guess.
I toured a daycare this morning. I'm so nervous we won't get in anywhere. It seems like that happens relatively often, so DH has agreed that he will do the nanny hunt while I'm on leave.

It's our anniversary today so I put up a wedding photo to celebrate on Fb. My brothers MIL just commented "congrats on the baby and the new house". Ummm lady, why are you annoucing my life! Uhhh. I'm just going to ignore it and home no one noticed lol

Ugh, so annoying! Last pregnancy, an old lady from church commented something about it being "2 and 1/3" of her favorite people when I changed my profile pic to an old one of DH and I...
Uhh so annoying! You are not being clever there lady! Lol.
I found a way to delete the comment, so I feel better now.
mikaela20, my mil announced for me on Facebook within 20 minutes of us telling them. I didn't see it for five hours. Got her to take it down. Ugh >< That was at least a month and a half before we finally DID announce on fb. Glad you found a way to delete it.
On Monday night the three of us went downtown to eat out. While DH was finishing putting DS in his car seat someone ran over the curb and hit DH. Like, this person hit my husband with their car and then went speeding off.
He's fine, very lucky that he just has to wear a leg brace and take it easy for a few weeks but we weren't able to catch the person or wrote their tag number.
I'm still processing all this two days later. Like, WTF is wrong with people?
Holy shit @priss08, that's terrifying. I'm glad your husband is (mostly) ok. I can't believe the person left.
Me either. We went to all the places on that street and no one has any cameras or anything. So, we just reported a hit and run to the police. But I mean, there's not much you can do past that.

My brother and I have spent 4 out of the last 5 work days driving around visiting with prospective customers. Each day we have stuffed ourselves full at lunch. We're a horrible influence on each other in terms of eating.
Holy shit @priss08! I am so glad your H is ok. That's terrifying. My H works at a company that has road technicians and he has considered switching from being in the shop to on the road several times. Every time, I get all the anxiety about it for reasons like what happened to your H.
I would really struggle to process that as well. I hope you are able to shake the bad feelings soon, but it is totally normal and ok to feel rattled for a while.
Today is DH's last day at his current job. We are going to a local island after DD is out of preschool tomorrow just for a couple of days. I'm really excited about having a little bit of time just the 3 of us
Oh and in less awesome news, we ended up not buying the house in the neighborhood I loved because it turned out that the listing realtor was being really sketchy and had already accepted an offer but was planning to back out of it based on a messed up signature. Good thing we got a realtor to come with us and get to the bottom of things or we could've ended up with no house at all. I'm not too disappointed about the house because we're not in a rush to move, but I'm really irritated that this guy wasted our time!
