What are you up to today? I'm supposed to be meeting my sis in law at the pumpkin patch and take some pics with DS & my nieces. It's only 58° out so that's shitty but it's only going to get colder so might as well do it today! Also I laughed yesterday because someone on my Facebook wrote "mine as well".
I'm watching last nights episode of this is us. I was going to nap but I thought LO would be up again soon to eat. Nope. He's still passed out. Go figure.
LO slept pretty well last night so I feel great this morning. He had his two-month shots yesterday, so that's probably what's to thank for the long sleep.
I think we're going to go to a baby yoga class later this morning. I've been chickening out for the past several weeks, but I really want to give it a try while I'm still on maternity leave and actually can go to it.
Going to Target to get a new Nose Frida. I can't find ours and baby girl is definitely struggling with a stuffy nose
Poor baby girl:( hope she is better soon! DS has a party at daycare tomorrow and I want to go but am afraid the baby will get sick from entering the germ zoo.

steph I recorded it but haven't had a chance to watch yet. I'm glad to hear it's as good as it looks!
M woke up with a goopy right eye. Is that something to call the pediatrician about? I wiped it away and it hasn't come back. He is acting pretty normal but the last couple days hasn't been eating quite as well (still enough, just less) and has been harder to get back to sleep MOTN. Thoughts?

Incidentally symptoms started 4 days after a friend's toddler kissed her right on the mouth :/

Is Ms eye red or just goopy? If eyes not red it could be a blocked tead duct. If red I'd call the doctor.

Just goopy. What do you do for a blocked tear duct?
penny2103 I went to a class and it was fine - plenty of babies crying, needing diaper changes, feeding - and moms squeezing in the activities as they were able. It was actually really nice to be in a structure that totally allowed for baby care

Basically nothing. But with DD I used to just keep her eye clean and massaged the lower eye lid towards the nose...I'd see how kinds of goop come out. She eventually "outgrew it" by 9ish months.?

Well I basically want to make all my fall recipes today!!! I discovered that changing seasons is a tough concept for a 2 year old to grasp though. She wants to wear her "pretty dress" today, but she doesn't get that it's cold! Need to find some warmer clothes that she'll get excited about.
Total mom fail. I didn't think about the fact that I'm breastfeeding when I called my doc about the UTI. They're calling me in a different antibiotic. It's not that mine isn't safe, but there are others that are safer.

If you are dairy (and possibly also soy) free, how long did it take for you to see a difference? I know the whole two weeks for it to fully leave the system thing, but did improvement show earlier?
I cannot keep doing this up every hour with screaming gassy baby thing. Something has got to give. Nurse on the pedi phone line agreed that is not normal.

Yeah you need a break...that's a lot of wake ups for gas. No idea how long it'll take to notice a difference. Is your DD discomfort only at night or during the day too?

I thought of you today when I noticed that my Starbucks now serves almond milk.
Discomfort/frequent wakeups weren't the main signs of MSPI for my DS2, but i saw improvements in his eczema and diapers after just a few days.

Day too. It's like I can get her to pass enough gas sometimes and then she is smiley and takes a 2 hour nap. But if I don't she is a mess and short naps.
DD2 was like this from week 1 until week 17, only worse, and it nearly broke DH and I. I am not exaggerating about that even a little.

I'm trying not to be annoyed. DH's aunt is hosting a meal for Rosh Hashana. She's making meat, and since I'm pescatarian ahe asked me to bring something. My first response is - don't worry about me! But honestly, we are still eating frozen stuff from Trader Joe's... I've hardly cooked anything since E was born...

I'm here with a terrible cold. I really, really hope the kids, especially Ds2, don't get sick. I also have a million things to do and am not good at not keeping busy. And, we are supposed to go visit dh's sister and her baby this weekend, so I hope this doesn't ruin our plans.

My niece went through a phase where she would only wear dresses. My sister just bought a ton of leggings/tights and plain long sleeved shirts to wear under all of them (or cardigans).
