In the meantime I took kids to DC and picked them up, making dinner, researched dental I durance, took care of our medical insurance stuff today and worked freaking g 10 freaking hours. Are you freaking kidding me he couldn't call the freaking plumber?
Also, what...breaks...during sex? Am I doing it wrong? Or maybe right?
Lol! It didn't break per say but maybe tore a bit. You're probably doing it right. I'm not sure what happened since I didn't feel any pain during, but I also have a special snowflake reconstructed vag thanks to dd haha
I think I have a newborn again. All this kid wants to do is nurse. I mean, I miss him too during the day but I have shit to do at night and can't just sit on the couch.
We're trying to fly standby (H is in aviation) to visit a friend in Melbourne. Stuck in LAX last night. Trying to get there tonight. It's a 15.5 HR flight. Yikes.
Also, for any Jeopardy fans out there, the online try outs start today and go through the 6th. Sign up!

Sorry for the delay! My dad is a pilot and we've flown stand-by a lot so I feel your pain.
And THANK YOU. I signed up weeks ago for the Jeopardy test and just about forgot! 19 minutes...
tmclawchick I was that your friend. Still am about bedtime. My daughter refused to nap anywhere but home and would have incredibly awful meltdowns without naps. If we go to bed late, she wakes up at 4am for the next week at least, guaranteed. She has always fought sleep super hard.
DS on the other hand has always been very sleep flexible.
So, yeah. My sanity and my daughter's health was worth more than hanging out with friends.

mommabakes ugh, that sucks! See with her DS he sleeps fine in the stroller but she refuses to let him...and doesn't really seem to have a reason. They even cancelled a vacation because of his nap schedule! I can't imagine!

Okay, if he'll nap elsewhere, then yeah, she's being crazy. I cannot imagine cancelling a vacation due to kids sleep either.

Super minor fender bender today on the way to karate. Old lady drifted into our lane, but luckily I was able to get over so she just clipped us with her mirror. I motioned for her to pull over and she (1) didn't know she hit us and (2) looked so confused. Ugh. Luckily there was no damage and everyone was ok.
Today sucked. I need to talk to my boss about it (it just sucks to see someone I don't feel deserves it get a raise and promotion when I'm sitting here overworked, undervalued and feeling unappreciated). Trying to figure out my approach without coming off whiny.

Re: the napping, I'm team do what works for you. But on the flip side she can't be mad when people stop inviting her out ya know?
I'm really glad you're ok tmclawchick!! What a headache.
shellyr the problem with jeopardy for us Canadians too is that there is so much American history! (I mean duh). But it does make it harder since we don't learn about any of that in school. I'm going to sound like kind of an idiot but I don't know anything about any of the southern shit. Like I know things (wars? Battles? Differences of opinions?) happened there but beyond that I'll never get battle names or years or anything. Haha I probably would to terribly but Dh and I watch every day so we felt we had to try out! Haha.
tuscanlatte, girl, I didn't even know the war questions, and I for sure missed the Canada question!
Still waiting to see about the flight. Feeling tired and kind of scared about getting in a 15 hr flight with a toddler. What was I thinking? Who has been to Oz? It's worth it, right?
I know with septic tanks you shouldn't but with public sewer I thought you were good to go.
I wrap them in tp and throw them away. Technically they aren't bad (like for the earth or anything) but your average household plumbing isn't really designed to handle them. They can absolutely clog up your toilet.
Meh. I've flushed mine for years without any backups. I'm also married to a plumber, so I don't really GAF what is flushed. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Guy behind me thought it'd be better to use the headrest (of my seat) to pull himself up instead of the mf HANDLE. Pulled my hair right out of my clip and didn't say a thing to me.
@betweenthelines, I called the plumber at 6:30 and he's already at my house. But since H was home yesterday and I had to handle kids, daycare, work and insurance stuff I figured he could make a phone call. I've learned my lesson.
