My dog is having trouble passing some thin plastic thread he ate. Now I'm going to be anxious all night and tomorrow until he poops the rest of it out. I really hope he won't need emergency surgery. If he doesn't pass it by morning I'll have to arrange to have my IL's come check on him while H and I are at work. Poor dumb pup.

Awwww I once had a dog eat a razor blade. She was fine. Praying for your pup!
Failed my 1 hr glucose tolerance test. I have to go back for the 3 hr on Tuesday. Doing this at 12 weeks is stupid.
That sucks. They'll probably tell you this in the instructions for your 3 hr but make sure you don't cut carbs in anticipation. They're going to give you a lot of glucose, so your pancreas needs to be used to churning out insulin in order to get a valid test result. Also make sure you bring a snack for after. I've heard of people having some pretty scary and sudden blood sugar lows after the test. Good luck!
iqeb, rowe, I just weaned DD a few weeks ago. It was definitely harder on me than it was on her, I think she had kind of been losing interest for a while and I was just sad to give it up. Good luck with whatever you decide!
Kind of annoyed with the bf. I ask what I can do to help with the nursery, asked if I could put the outlet covers on as the walls have been painted...nope, he needs to make sure they are square and even. Really? We don't need perfection on an outlet over good grief
Due date changed to 4/9 (was 4/14 by opk and 4/12 by dating scan), hb 159, low risk for trisomies. Not thrilled that they'll be wanting to induce earlier than I'd like based on measuring ahead, but we'll just hope the babe comes on her own before it comes to that. Pretty OK with getting to consider this weekend the start of second tri though!
My H started his job full time this week. He was shocked to learn that he had to actually put down a lunch every day and that it was unpaid. Sorry, dear, welcome to the real world.
This is his first real job outside of mowing lawns and grad school researching. He was part time for the past few months so he never had to take a lunch. He's been in a world of surprises this week trying to figure his way through it and I'm trying hard to not go "i told you so"
