Well I had 2 moles sent for biopsy... Cue 2 weeks of panic until the results come back!
Deep breath! I've had multiple moles biopsies and they've always been benign. And if something were to come back malignant, most forms of skin cancer are quite treatable. You're being responsible by getting it checked out just in case!

We live in apartment building where we don't have control over our heat. They just turned it on and now the air is so dry and I'm super dehydrated. Now that I realize it I'm making an effort to drink extra but until it kicks in I just feel crappy.
Started DS on Zantac as it seems like dairy free was helpful for some symptoms it causes increased spitting up. Which at first he wasn't bothered by but now he screams after feeding. And has generally been more uncomfortable at night. Hopefully this helps. It's hard to know when to start meds or not since he has the silent reflux with some spit up. But worth a try. If I don't notice a difference I'll stop.
I have those enfamil checks too. Just another option, I plan to leave them in the formula aisle next time I shop.
I just did this with some neosure formula coupons. I don't know why I didn't think of this for these too. I just need to make sure they don't have my name printed in them.
annbuhdan good thoughts for you! Waiting is so hard.
I will take formula checks! (Is it bad to switch formulas? E doesn't seem to care, and I've tried several).
Poor guy didn't nap well at daycare today. He looked so tired when I picked him up. I basically had to put him right to bed. I enjoyed the extra cuddles, but we didn't get to play at all today!

Some people are brand loyal but others switch. If you want coupons message me your address and I'll send you some.

Some babies don't care, so as long as you don't notice any changes, it's probably fine. Ds2 has a very sensitive tummy and we notice a change in his gas/ poop right away.
I have a question about starting solids. DS is 4.5 months. The pedi said we can start anytime with cereals and purees. I know the AAP just changed their recommendation for solids to 6 months and starting on table foods. What are your thoughts on this?

I was wondering the same thing. I tried a bit of avocado I was eating and DD4 was like hell no. Her adjusted age isn't even 4 months so I'm going with waiting till closer to 6? My sister is in Europe and they want her to give her baby all sorts of high allergy foods like peanuts and eggs before 6 months.
My anxiety level tomorrow is going to be through the roof.
Random question though - what news channel will you be watching for election coverage, and why?
I'm dying honestly. It's going to be a rough 24 hours. I just want this election to be over. I hope they will call some eastern states like FL and VA before I go to bed. We only have sling so we will stream cnn on the computer and have our local channels (prob nbc) with our antenna. And of course twitter on my phone. I lived in Florida during the 2000 bush/gore debacle so I really get into election night coverage
I got tired of constantly having to reswaddle DD all night so I put her in a sleep sack tonight. I was nervous that she would wake herself up constantly since she takes short naps in it, but she only woke up twice to eat. She still has the startle reflex and she's moving all around her crib, but it doesn't seem to be waking her up so it looks like this might actually work.

The pediatrician recommended switching up formulas. Breastmilk isn't always the same so formula doesn't have to be either.
I was also told to mix up the water we use from bottled to filtered and use ready-made formula. She said to minimize tap due to the added fluoride.
She also told me that store versions are the same as Similac - save my money.
EDIT - all of this assumes your kid is handling them okay!

Our pediatrician also now recommends doing the highest allergy foods ASAP. I haven't talked with her about it yet - this is from my sister who uses the same pediatrician and has her third kid. I'm not sure what we'll do.
Sorry - two "our pediatrician says..." posts in a row.

Our allergist advised introducing nuts between 8 and 10 months, in his office. Our protocol is obv a bit different but the current thinking seems to be that earlier exposure is better with the Top 8

This is how DS sleeps. He'll sleep for 12-13 hours with 2 short wake ups to eat.
