We are already on onesie #3 today. DD coughed so hard she spit up all over her and me so that needed a change and then we had a blowout diaper. Fun times.
Baby Girl's new Pack N Play was just delivered! We didn't get one originally because the standard size ones were too big and, quite frankly, unnecessary for our house. But, as she has learned nearly how to get out of the Rock N Play and our bassinet has loose side coverings, we needed a new plan!
I found a smaller footprint Pack N Play made by Graco that has two bassinet heights in addition to the open bottom for an older child. Peeeeerfect. I got it from Babies R Us with gift cards so it was free!
And we just found out that our sister in law is pregnant again! The Rock N Play was originally theirs so back it will go!
Now... to get Baby Girl to sleep in it. Ah. The next problem...

Messy babies! I gave her a bath and then of course ten minutes later she had the biggest poop ever.

We had a huge blow out too. Poo up to his neck! If we werent trying to get DD to nap he'd have gone in the bath too, instead he got a sponge bath.

DS got the memo on blowout day. He's usually a daily morning pooper, but he hadn't gone in a few days. I knew when it did happen, it would be bad.
I just called the nurse line to double check we're doing the right things for DD. Her cough sounds painful and she lets out a big sad sigh after each one. The nurse told us to keep on keeping on, but it's nice to know there are no "go to dr/urgent care/hospital" red flags.
Wine and watching bad moms. 1 glass in and I'm feeling pretty good! Did I tell you guys that my therapist appt went well? I really liked her! She prescribed me something- Celexa. She said my anxiety is beyond normal and I shouldn't have to live like this. So I'm optimistic!

Too funny that everyone's have blowouts today. MH is home with DD for the next few weeks and on his first day with her and two blow outs with full outfit changes. She even had poop on her socks!

We can't manage to get R to sleep more than 2 hour stretches regularly. I just don't know what to do...we've even started employing techniques the ped recommended and nothing yet. He's 14 lbs so she said physically he should be capable of a 4-5 hour long stretch. So tired and work starts in just over a week.
I feel your pain. Back when C was 12 weeks she STTN and even when that stopped she was still doing 4-5 hour stretches. For about a month now she's been up every 2-3 hours alllll night long. No more long stretch. It's awful. Shes 17w (turned 4 months yesterday)
We are going back to swaddling tonight. The Merlin worked well until it didn't. Swaddling used to work great until she hated it. She loved it when I swaddled her tonight. I'm thinking maybe we just need to keep rotating what we do every few nights??
Trying the sleep sack tonight. DD3 was freaking me out rubbing her face with the huge sleeve of her Zipadee Zip and she despised the Merlin.
My kid took a peaceful, pacifier-less nap in the car (with me there) at the park today. Why can't you sleep like that in your crib, baby?!
Good luck tonight. I often question how DS can put himself to sleep in stroller when it's not even moving but can't do it in his crib. But then I think sleep is sleep.
