I think we're going to the movies, but we'll have to get some ear protection for R first, I guess. I doubt she'll even make it through the movie. But h really wants to go. I'll probably spend the whole movie sitting at the food court while he watches it.

Can you wear her?
My lo hates being worn while I'm sitting, but I'm not sure if that's the norm or not.
We're just hanging out at home all weekend. Me and the boys, that is. H had to work this weekend but he's taking Monday and Thursday off. Monday we're going to attempt the Aquarium, but ds1 is all of a sudden afraid of dark rooms and hallways. Thursday I have my last appointment with the radiation oncologist, I'll be getting the results of the scan finally.

She also Hayes to be worn while I'm sitting. Unless I'm rocking her to sleep and she's already super sleepy.
Last night could have been worse. We opened all the bedroom doors and heard him just fine. And I was able to get some sleep. And we found it while unpacking this morning so we've got it for tonight! 😊
We're leaving the boys overnight tonight for the annual school auction fundraiser. It's the first time leaving Cam overnight. I'm kind of ridiculously excited lol
But I'm also a little bit in a fog. It's been a completely draining week. I can't stop thinking about my grandma. I almost feel guilty going out tonight and carrying on like nothing is different but I know my grandpa wouldn't have wanted me to feel that way. Ugh. Loss is so hard. 😞
We got the girls to babysit and we're going to the movies. This will be the first time since she was born that I'll be away from her for more than an hour! I'm so nervous. I'm afraid she's just going to cry a bunch because she'll miss a meal time and screw up a nap. I keep telling myself it's only a two hour movie, she'll be fine. But eek!
twocents6708 how's it going? How are your sick babes?
My house is a disaster but I have decided to ignore it DS is napping currently. He has been fussy but wrapping him has helped. DD is feeling better and slept last night, thank goodness. But she is having 'roid rage tantrums. Overall, not as bad as it could be. Thanks for asking!
We got the six month photos my friend took back. They're super cute! Ironically the shots I begged her for didn't look as good as some of the ones she came up with. Just goes to show that some people have an eye for that. 😄

We need to get on this. Is turns 6 months in two weeks which is such a blah time... the leaves around here have already fallen. I feel like family photos are a thing we should do but it seems daunting and expensive. We didn't do newborn photos because we were expecting to be in hospital for a month or more.

Yeah most of our leaves had fallen so we had to just do what we could. Honestly if my friend didn't do photos we probably wouldn't bother because $$$

I'm really hungry and don't feel like cooking. I wish more places delivered out our way. I guess it's for the best though lol saves money and keeps us eating a tiny bit healthier...
My lab (almost 4 yrs old) has seemingly suddenly dropped a bunch of weight. He's acting fine, eating and drinking and all that jazz. I don't think he has worms (at least I don't see any in his poop), he doesn't seem to have an ear infection (the only health issue he tends to have). Now he is spending a lot of time outside running around but he's been outside this much since spring.
Is this a take him to the vet thing? Keep an eye on him? Increase his food? Idk. I hate to waste money on a vet visit if it's nothing big but I don't want to ignore something big.

Sudden weight loss without major activity change is probably a take him to the vet thing. Sorry. Any changes in the amount he's drinking or urinating? Any diarrhea or vomiting? Any diet change?
That's what I figured. 😕 Poor dude. No changes to diet or anything. Honestly if his ribs didn't start showing I would know anything was up. He's playing, his gums are nice and pink. He still rough houses with our cocker spaniel.

H was worried about heart work. But I give him the preventative monthly and I thought signs of that we're coughing and lethargy

Yeah, noticeable weight loss like that warrants an exam, fecal (for microscopic parasites), and probably some basic bloodwork. Good luck!
Thanks for your help! Sorry to bother you with work questions while not at work lol
