Been up for almost 2.5 hours at this point. H woke up a little before 7 and all of us woke up with him. I've been having out on the couch catching up on TV shows and using the heating pad. I may also be stuffing myself with leftover Halloween candy with DS. Candy + leftover pizza = breakfast of champions.

Happy Saturday my friends! I'm out and about today spending money I don't need to be spending. Had breakfast with my BFF this morning and then got sucked into the Target vortex. Currently waiting in like at Bare Minerals for some makeup, and then I might head over to the Carter's store for a bit.

I'm right across the street from my friends new boutique but I'm trying to avoid it because I want every single thing she posts on IG but I know I won't be able to wear normal people clothes for much longer. :/
Doing laundry and some cleaning since I have a normal amount of energy and am not queasy for the first time in weeks. H is taking an annual residency exam.
Tonight we're going out to dinner and a ping pong bar for H's birthday. It will be fun, I just hope I can stay awake and my stomach behaves itself since I'm most nauseous at night.
I just organized baby girl's closet and am feeling a little embarrassed by how many clothes she already has. And of course the majority of them aren't practical onesies or footies but really cute nicer outfits. She's going to be the best dressed baby at my gym's nursery
I've already bought an obscene amount of cute little dresses. In my defense I'm trying really hard to only buy 6 month or larger because I know we will get tons of newborn and 3 month clothes from people.

It was a rough night of Dexter whining all night long and running his ginormous cone of shame into everything (including repeatedly smacking me in the face with it). It's also cold and rainy out today. So I'm using the gloomy day to accomplish some house projects. I made a list of everything I want fixed or finished before babies come and it is a LENGTHY list.

mustloveerica, LouDog sends him LTs for commiseration.
Thanks LouDog!! He's really just unhappy about the cone of shame. It's literally as wide as our doorways. And since he's afraid of his own shadow every time he runs the cone into something he gets scared and tries to runs away haha.

I'm with you ladies. Hardest part so far is fitting all her clothes in the toddlers closet since most need to be hung, it's a good sized close too lol 😣 I might have to, for now, only put out the 0-3mon stuff and organize the rest in bins, makes me sad
Worked this morning for 6 hours. Stopped at target, came home to when in the future nursery. I decided to assemble the changing table / & dresser....yeah I'm walking away from that mess for a bit lol
MH invented new curse words putting all our apartment IKEA stuff together. He would totally be willing to pay for something like this! I'm gonna keep this in mind since we move in February and their will be some new furniture!
The guy charged $75 to put together our media stand. Money well spent!!
Right about now that sounds like a good idea. I've accomplished the first 5 steps with 20 to go lol Maybe by Thanksgiving it'll be done.

One of my friends came over tonight and saw the totes and totes of clothes my mother has already purchased. She was like "ughhhh what are people going to buy you for your shower?!" Lol. #onlychild #firstgrandbaby
Feel free to hold this party at my home with my furniture items. Kthanks.
I mean I might have considered this as my new career after finding out you can hire people to assemble your furniture.
My husband worked for IKEA in high school and would make good money on the side from people asking him to come to their place to put it together. I do not have his skills. I usually end up pulling out most of my hair out of frustration.
I dreamed that I was pregnant with two sets of identical twin girls and I was so excited, but then the doctors told me there was an 80% chance I'd lose all 4 babies. Pregnancy dreams are dumb.

I'm sad I missed all the furniture assembly talk yesterday. Y'all can stop by my house next time H and I decide to buy all the things from ikea. I hate assembling and so does he. And when we try to do it together, it ends up in an argument. Misery!

+1 for crazy, upsetting dream last night. I was magically transported to 1983 while dh and ds were not...I was crying so hard in the dream. I just woke up confused. Dh is like as long as I wasn't mad at him for what happened in the dream...I've had those type of dreams too.
