Today was just a disaster. Also had a nap refuser over here. I have a ton of schoolwork I will have to do tonight once I get everyone to bed. LO has been so freakin cranky today-whiny and stubborn like you wouldn't believe! I just set a 90 minute timer on my microwave. Once that sucker goes off, I'm dumping her in the crib and calling it good!

I ended up getting my preceptor a bottle of hot pepper wine from my local winery back home + a 7-eleven gift card, York peppermint patties, and a bag of licorice twizzlers. Lol

LO skipped nap today...til 4:30. When my H text me all proud that he had put her down, I called him yelling like a beast and made him get her up. And then I got home and he had bought me a card (before the nap debacle). I'm a Dick.

Big fat fight with DH. Bc I asked him to go in and cuddle LO who was screaming "DADDYYYYYYYYYYY" and is sick. He was acting super put out and was like "You were just in there. It's just going to make it worse and he won't go to sleep." So I was like fine, I'll just go back in there because he's been crying for like 15 min now. Then he FLIPS OUT and is like No! No! No! I don't want you to go in there! I'll do it! and storms off.
Seriously dude, you can fuck smooth off. Smoooooooooooooth off. Like right outta here with that nonsense.

This is why I registered for all cast iron pots and pans. DH knows I'm not playing around with aluminium nonstick when he says something stupid.

What is up with these toddlers lately?? I'm glad mine isn't the only one being a monster these days. He's so sassy lately. The other day I was sitting on the couch with him and he told me to "go away, mama. Go kitchen. Off, off." Uhh, seriously dude??

+1 for a cranky/sassy toddler. The majority of the time he really is good as gold but every so often he decides to test us, for example looking right at us while throwing his milk or some other object on the floor. DH gets it worse than I do since he totally takes the bait and I'm a little better at ignoring DS or redirecting him.

This is my life. I swear laundry and dishes multiply faster than I can keep up with them.
