LO leaped out two times today during nap, did it one time ALMOST before during nap, and never does it at night time or in the morning. During nap it's because he's pissed. I'm so not ready for this!

We haven't yet. DS climbed out for the first time about a month before the new baby was born and I was freaking out because I was so not ready for him to be in a bed and worried about making too many big transitions at once.

Luckily we were able to put his mattress all the way down to the floor and he hasn't been able to climb out since. Idk when we will switch. He does so well in his crib and I feel like once he's not contained he'll never stay in his bed and will just spend all night wandering his room and playing!

This is my fear too! Lo is still in his crib, but he wanders around and plays in it while he's fighting nap. I feel like a toddler bed would just turn into him roaming his room and fighting naps even harder. Thankfully he hasn't figured out how to climb out yet. *knocks frantically on wood*

littlelion sorry for the rough night. BFing was SO hard in those early days. Is he cluster feeding like crazy for you? I hope it gets better!!

We got a good snowfall here. We took lo out after his nap. He loved the snow.
Really happy with how our Christmas cards turned out! Hopefully getting them sent out tomorrow.

I'm back in the hospital. I kept getting headaches so I checked my bp which turned out high. Dr made me come in and kept me after seeing how high. I'm getting higher dose of the bp med plus more of that lovely magnesium. Dh and baby stayed with me. Hoping to get discharged early tomorrow.

Eta: I feel so bad that Leo doesn't understand why I leave him. He cried when we pulled up to my sister's house.

sgio7485 we switched to a toddler bed months ago. I think right after I found out I was KU'D. There were some naps that I had to hang out by the door and every time I heard him move around the room I went in there and put him back to bed. Now he is really good about staying in bed. We switched him because he was starting to climb out and the mattress was already on the lowest setting.

Thanks ladies. They stopped the mag just now. I have to have stable bp for the next 4 hrs then I can go home. FX. I don't want to stay another night here.
