First night at home was way more comfortable then at the hospital. Baby ate every hour though so sleep isnt really happening still. Ive given up on trying to keep track of it
Happy V day ladies! DS woke up a couple of times last night and his inside brother decided to dance all over the place so I didn't sleep much. When I did wake up I kept thinking did I wake up because my water broke? Lol, no water breaking action here with baby due in 12 days.

michelle142, my mom has the one with the bottom freezer and she hates it because "things get buried and she forges they are there." But that's probably just my mom. I would get the side by side refrigerator though, I always loved those but my kitchen doesn't have enough room.
Happy Valentine's Day ladies! I was pleasantly surprised this morning when I went to go change LO's diaper and on the changing table was a bouquet of flowers and two Helzberg jewelry boxes! H got me a necklace and matching earrings with LO's birthstone. Then I went into the living room and he left another box with the same diamond necklace I had lost 2 years ago. I started crying!

RE: fridge - that's also why I don't like the old school style with the freezer on top. I lost all kinds of things in there. I like all the shelves in a side-by-side.
Happy Valentines Day! Hope we have some Valentines day babies! I'm working on posting a birth announcement with pictures.
But my baby gave me sleep for Vday. We opted for him to sleep in the nursery and with one 45 min break, we got almost 8 hours of sleep! I know that changes when we get home, but I'm taking it.

I actully got some half decent sleep last night (as decent as can be when taking 8 potty trips and rolling from side to side). We are about to head out to the Amish market for some fresh donuts. Maybe a trip to BJ's later to try to walk this baby OUT! Such a romantic Valentine's day
DH made me breakfast this morning. And we are planning to do dinner out for our last pre-baby Valentine's Day. Having a baby today would definitely be better- but I'll take it.
michelle142 I actually really like the freezer on the bottom. Nothing ever seemed to fit right in the freezer section of my side by side. It was too narrow.. We also don't freeze that much stuff in general, so I like having the nice, wide fridge space all up top.

We have a large chest freezer in our basement, so we don't usually keep much in the freezer attached to the fridge. I'm a little worried about stuff getting lost in a bottom freezer, but at the same time I love the fridge space that style offers. We'll go to the store and play with the floor models I guess
I am finally feeling like I can back off on my pain medicine! I am so glad cause I hope to get the OK to drive again next week. And DS slept a 3.5 hour stretch so I am feeling pretty normal today. Its been a long time since I felt normal!
DD is giving me a run for my money. She is in a phase where she uses everything to climb up to the counters and sink to make a huge mess but if you correct her and move her to an activity other than climbing, huge melt down... and its only 9:30.
Happy Valentines Day, ladies and babies (inside and out!) going to the home and garden show today with MIL which will is nice bc it makes me optimistic for spring as we get like 4" of snow!
michelle142, we have an island in our kitchen and we can't open the fridge door (freezer on top, fridge on bottom) all the way bc of it, so if you have an island or anything in the way, that would be my only concern. I have been wanting a side by side with the water and ice on the door pretty much since we moved into this house
michelle142, I have a bottom freezer and I love it. I am short so I can see what I have much easier. I hated the top or side freezer cause I would always have frozen things fly off the top shelf while I was trying to see what was on the top shelf. We keep the large stuff in a deep freezer and the more every day items in the bottom freezer.
I want one of those fridges with the snack drawer! Those are awesome!

If you already have a chest freezer, you'll be fine either way you go. The bottom freezer seems to be really great if you don't have the room in a separate chest freezer. I only mind our side by side freezer when I'm baking something that needs chilled and I can't fit the baking sheet in. Otherwise it's been fine.

I spent the morning yesterday in L&D. The night prior, I had pretty consistent contractions 4-5min apart, lasting about 45s each. Then I got the "show." Throughout the night I was leaking pink fluid, so I thought that maybe my water was leaking and taking blood down with it. At 6am, I called the doctor who told me to come in to be checked.
Sadly the contractions were very irregular at the hospital, the fluid was not amniotic (TIL you can keep getting a bloody show; it's not a one and done thing), then my contractions faded out altogether. I was, atleast, dilated slightly more than my appt on Monday (fingertip to 1cm).
My doctor told me not to come back unless I was in so much pain I couldn't talk or walk through the contractions. Good, because I'm sick of counting these things.
I hope you all with inside babies are having better luck than me!!

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! DH made me feel special today--it's the simple things. Can't go too crazy food-wise when you have GD, so he's planned crab for dinner (my favorite) and stocked up some dark chocolate for me! Got a really pretty arrangement of flowers too. 2 days away from inducing, I wasn't expecting anything special, so today's already a good day. :-)
Getting discharged today! Currently have an adorable sleeping baby on me while I mobile bump from my phone, waiting on someone from my OB's office to come see me so we can get this ball rolling!
michelle142 I don't like a bottom freezer bc I feel like it's hard to find/arrange things bc it's like one big basket.
My spam: Anna is 2 weeks old today. My DH let me sleep in for one more feeding interval this morning!! I told him too bad we can't make sweet sweet lovin'
My family is visiting today and I'm very excited. It'll be fun.
Happy "Valumtime's" Day! (I embarrassed to say I saw this on my news feed this morning. I need to delete this person for exposing people to stupid on a daily basis.)
DH and I had our V-day date last night. He took me out for crawfish. FYI,spicy does nothing for contractions. When we got home he made me a bath and made us cinnamon rolls. He served them with milk in fancy wine glasses. Haha he's the sweetest thing.
Anyway DH is at work and I vowed to not stay in bed today. I need to at least clean the kitchen and bathroom. But alas, my allergies are kicking my butt and even I can't justify taking a Benadryl at 10 AM.
I'm super jealous of those of you seeing action. My LO is giving me no indication that she will arrive before I'm 30 years pregnant.
Happy Saturday! FX that those inside babies get moving soon!
We have a low key Valentine's Day planned - just hanging out during the day and then chocolate lava cakes with ice cream for dessert later. I got DH a card and some candy - that's about all we usually do.
I'm just hoping DDs 2 week growth spurt is done, poor baby was so unhappy yesterday!
