I need a debbie downer moment. Our water heater quit working last night and I desperately want a shower. I'm tempted to go to the gym, just so I can take one. H is working OT today until 2 and said he would fix it when he gets home, but I'm considering doing it myself so I can get dishes and laundry done.

I forgot the rest of my debbie downer post: I've developed a toothache. I just had xrays and a teeth cleaning in September and everything looked good so this is annoying.. I'm 8wks today and everything I'm reading says it's best to do dental work in 2nd tri, but I'm not sure I want to wait almost a month.

Dropped N off at parents day out at dc, then H and I got breakfast. I'm getting my eyebrows and hair done later, then off to a gender reveal party. We will probably do the coney lights this evening. Tomorrow my work Xmas party is in the evening so that should be fun. Pretty full weekend. I can't believe Christmas is next weekend.

Only if you can put it off. If it's going to develop into something more serious, I wouldn't wait. Definitely talk to your ob, but I believe they will encourage you to get it done. They will wrap you up tight if they have to do X-rays.

Is it a gas hot water heater? Be careful you all might get into a big mess if you're not sure what you're doing.

This. I had a toothache in first tri with DS1. Had X-rays, they wrapped me like a mummy. Ended up it could just be treated with a prescription rinse. Could be as easy as that for you mrscatfarmer13
Sorry for your shitty day mrscatfarmer13. I'd definitely go to the gym for a shower. Hope your H can fix it. And I agree with everyone else about going to the dentist for your toothache. Dental stuff only gets worse with time.
We're at the outlet mall. It's not as packed as I expected, probably because of the weather. DS fell asleep in the stroller so we're knocking out all the Christmas shopping. Got DS a pair of "Snoots" from Stride Rite so he'll be able to play in the snow at my parents house next weekend. Got some clearance shirts for myself at Motherhood Maternity. Almost passed out in the food court, but I felt ok by the time I was done eating so we're not leaving until the Christmas shopping is finished! Now I'm chilling on a bench in the shoe section at Columbia while DH stands in line.
Sesame Street was a success! The big was into it the whole time. The little hung tough for most of each act, just got a little restless toward the end. Overall a good time!
JoBub call your OB and get her to write up an rx for bloodwork. You're scaring me
I think I'll probably get the routine bloodwork at my next appointment (Thursday) because they didn't draw blood at all at the first appointment. But I'm going to call them on Monday and let them know how I'm feeling and see if they want to move up the glucose test also.

bazingaa where were your guys' seats? I'm thinking about taking the kids to today's show. I want to make sure that they would be able to see.

We were on the floor. Did not realize that. It was extremely empty though. Maybe 1,500 people there. We moved at intermission. Plenty of seats to choose from.

I never thought I would wish for Monday morning. My tooth kept me up most of the night, and then this morning I all but fainted after my shower. H thinks I just got too hot in tbe shower, but he said I was one incoherent sentence away from an ambulance ride. I feel better now though, just tired from getting no sleep last night. Cookies for all that, got through my dear diary post.
mrscatfarmer13 sorry for your bad day. Do you have an appointment for your toothache?
And WTH with the fainting! Had you not eaten breakfast yet? Right now I'm blaming my near-fainting incident on needing to eat. Heat could have been a factor too, since we had just come in from outside and I still had my coat on. I'm hoping this is a first-time thing because it's going to be hot as balls out for the last month or two that we're pregnant!

I hope you can get it taken care of quickly tomorrow.

I would get light headed a lot during pregnancy, especially in the heat. I couldn't take hot showers. I think I was a little low on iron. It's worth asking about.

Is that what anemia is? Low iron? DH guessed I could be anemic, but he obviously doesn't know. FFSC: I skipped my PNV a few times last week, so it could be my own fault

I believe so. I remember them saying I was "slightly anemic".
