heybulldog56 I'd say semi-organized? Not full on Kon Mari but I try to keep some of those ideas in mind. I've been focusing on one physical area at a time, a specific closet, drawer, bookshelf, etc. so I'm not doing all my clothes at once like she recommends but I did go through my closet and get rid of things that I no longer enjoyed. I'd love to do her full program but I do not have the time. I also like to think of what I'm going to tackle next and psych myself up for stuff I'm going to get rid of. I'm thinking about a kitchen cupboard that has mixing bowls and baking type things. We only use a few so I'm mentally choosing which ones will make the cut and it makes me excited.
I really enjoyed the look on my boyfriends face when he was complaining about getting rid of an old, too big, stretched out, but well loved shirt, and I told him to thank it for its service and memories, and stick it in the bag anyway.

Having a bunch of back and forth with my HMO about eviction dates. They tried giving me the 19th and we're pushing for the 16th instead. I guess they don't do scheduled ones on Wednesdays so the 18th is out.
I'm irrationally excited about the fact that my spectra breast pump is shipping today! I've been using a brand new medela pisa that my sil never used and it's good. But the spectra is supposed to be quiet so I'm excited to use it too. And now I'll have a pump for home and one for work.

OMG there is SO MUCH clutter in my house. Normal me doesn't care, but nesting me is going crazy. I have to be careful not to throw out things like important papers

carrots, I had thought she might send us downtown anyway but I figured what's the point in going if NOTHING IS HAPPENING.
That said, my back hurts and my hips hurt more than they did earlier. Back hurts worse when I'm up and about, hips hurt worse when I sit. I swear, if this baby is going to give me back labor like DS, things better move quickly. I may have to rethink this more than two babies idea if all of them are going to be literal pains in my back/ass.
I would love to declutter but I'm part hoarder too, also the moment I clear space to reorganise my partner fills it with his ebay stock. MY house is full to bursting.
I had a consultant appt on Tuesday, baby happy, measuring ahead (i blame christmas food for that one) and home birth a go go go but I was warned that I could bleed more due to the low iron and baby will need bloods taken for testing re the antibodies. Saw my midwife yesterday, still happy with home birth plans and all the contacts and when to ring gone over with a fine tooth comb (OMG) and then I have my next appt booked for the 16th for a sweep unless things go on their own. Things are beginning to feel real.
Downer of the day was a run in with a parent at play group who took offence at my 2.5 year old playing with the train table, he can bite and push so I was keeping a close eye on him and trying to avoid issues/meltdowns. Final straw was when her 3 or 4 year old took one of the train cars off DS and he naturally lost it. I was told that he needed to learn to share, that her son was waiting to play with the train (plenty more about might I add) and that he/we cant monopolise the trains, its a playgroup its all to share. All I could say was that he might share but there that her child shouldn't have snatched the train. I was then told he didn't snatch and then she took her and the kids off to the other play areas with another PA comment. Lady I'm tired and fed up, I'm picking my battles and he's 2, sharing is hard. I just wanted to cry and go home TBH.
Positive DS was very kind and cute to a little tiny baby, stroked her hair nicely and wanted cuddles, all hope is not lost he might like this new baby...

I don't want to be at work. I'm over it and feeling suddenly very tired. Keeping my FX that this baby shows up tonight because the doula in our collective who is on call is our case manager but she doesn't take her 24 hour turn until tonight at 7. But also kinda hoping this baby decides to show up sooner because I'm so done. That said, I think it was about 6 hours from the time I had my membranes stripped to when contractions started to get mildly painful and another couple hours until they were close enough to get me to the hospital with DS.

I'm loving all of this talk about more outside babies!
Well apparently this snow y'all are talking about has effected me here in Florida. My ILs got nervous about getting stuck while driving home tomorrow and Saturday so they left this afternoon! 😍❄️❄️ Now to settle in to our groove as a family of four.

Well DH just informed me that MIL went to go get X-rays done to see if she has walking pneumonia. She was supposed to be coming out to help us with DS.

vlagroupie let us know how you like the spectra! I used a Medela last time but might pay extra for the Spectra this time
otepoti what a witch, 2 year olds don't understand sharing, especially if they don't have siblings. Ugh. Glad your home birth plans are on track and DS was nice to the tiny baby!

Eviction date is officially the 16th!
Took DS for his walk and had to cut it short-ish because of cramps. He's chattering in his bed instead of sleeping. FX he naps because I need a nap now!
Good thing is we have quite a few friends out here that we could call in an emergency if we needed to come watch DS while I'm in labor. I just hope it's not 18 hours like the last one lol.

Will do. I got the s1 covered 100%. The s2 would have been $95 but the only difference between them is that the s2 has a battery pack. I didn't think I would use the battery pack enough to justify the $95 cost.
silvermelody, exciting stuff also hope you get to nap.
I can't believe how fast this pregnancy has gone and here we all are ready to meet babies. Also its taken all week but I finally have taken my Christmas tree down, it just need to make it's way in to storage and I have my front room back.
I just spent 45 minutes putting the car seat and base in the car we likely WONT use for labor, just because it's in the garage (warmish) and I wanted to have some kind of practice. We have a jeep or my Hs 2 door focus that we will likely use, focus has LATCH, jeep does not. We try to keep my Fusion away in the winters so it lasts a long time, but I wanted to see what this latch system was all about. Holy crap. I think a seatbelt with the strange H clip would be way easier than trying to find those anchors!
