I had my 37w appt yesterday. All looks good. Baby could be here in a day or in a month. Touche, doctor lady.
Just got an estimate done to have about half of our house painted. That was... eye-opening. But they can start on Monday and be done by the end of the week. Which (God-willing) before baby time.
Good luck with the painting judyblume14! It's so daunting to start a big thing like that right before baby comes, but sooo satisfying when it gets done. We did some major painting before we had DD and while it was painful at the time, I'm so glad it was done.
Phew about the insurance lakegirl. I'm there with you. Sucks to have to change and sort everything out this late in a pregnancy.
How're you doing summergirl1211? How's the LO?? Tell us about your squish!
Congrats, carrots!! In a way I bet that helps make leave that much more relaxing. lakegirl, glad you had no insurance issues this AM, woohoo!
I actually SLEPT last night! I feel like a new woman. I usually have a period of 3-4 hours where I am wiiiddeee awake, but while I was up a billion times to pee last night, I was actually able to fall right back asleep. So nice. I took a lavendar epsom salt bath right before bed, so I have no idea if that had anything to do with it or if it was just a coincidence.
Feeling more myself today (thank goodness). I'm working from home to contain any lingering germs...plus I have no desire to get out of my yoga pants and into business casual attire.
I was so out of sorts yesterday that when I went to my belly check I completely forgot to bring in my leave paperwork for my OB to fill out ::facepalm::. So I may venture out today to drop that off and get the ball rolling.
Checked in with minimal insurance issues. Phew. Pregnancy rage abated. HR has another week to get us our new cards.
Omg I completely forgot that I'll need to deal with change of insurance. God dammit. Grrrrr.
I hate Thursdays except for TV. Thursdays are always crazy here and filled with stupid customers. My stomach is upset, I'm dealing with diarrhea (labor sign? If only) and general stomach unfriendly behavior, and I'm just tired. My poor coworker who opens with me came in late this morning which is highly unusual. Apparently, she's house sitting and she got lost trying to get to work because she made a wrong turn somewhere without realizing it for awhile.
We picked up a chest freezer from my ILs yesterday, I've been slowly making some freezer meals and my little freezer is packed now so I'm excited to clean it out and get some more things frozen.

Congrats carrots!!! judyblume14, we are about to replace our carpets and the estimate was certainly eye opening. It's always so shocking to find out how much these projects really cost.
DH and I went to bed at 8:45. I feel pretty well rested despite getting up my usual 100 times to pee or readjust my body. Tomorrow will be my last day of work. I have a lot to do today to prepare. Probably should have done this earlier but oh well.

It's so dark here. It's 8:30 and feels a lot more like 7. These are perfect days for sleeping and yet, here I am, slaving away at my desk on TCF. I can't wait for my appointment just so I can get out of here!
Cervix is a smidge shortened but no other progress. Sighs. Based on conversations this week I think I have the UO that I like knowing what's going on with my cervix. I know it doesn't necessarily mean anything and walked around dilated with ds for a couple weeks but it gives me a nice mental boost to know that it might start happening. So I'm sad that I'm at Fort Knox level over here.
I've loaded up two bags of clothes and two boxes of books/things to donate once ds wakes up. I'm starting to feel the purging high already. *runs around to see what else can go*

@joybaby5 , my DS loves that movie also! I have lost track of how many times we have seen it.
lakegirl , you are right about working well under pressure! I am actually almost done with outlining an entire unit, handouts and all! It's not my best work but I think its thorough enough for a component adult to use in order to successfully educate my babies. I have prepared by kids for this all year. I know they have the tools to get through all this content without me. I just hope they believe they can do it and follow through...

I LOVE purging crap. I'm hoping some of my nesting energy will lead to some good cleanup days before DS arrives.
judyblume14, I WISH we had paid someone to paint or house instead of doing it ourselves on top of FT jobs during 3rd tri! I hope it gets done before LO arrives.
LO had his first pedi appointment yesterday and is doing great gaining back some weight. BF swings from good to bad on a daily basis as we find our groove (boobs size and shape seems to change daily as my supply is establushing) but at least he's getting what he needs despite my very sore nips.
DH took us out for sushi after the pedi which was yummy and then I took a trip to Target with my mom. I stopped taking the strong painkillers now, and am doing ok without them, so can drive and have my freedom back!
A trip out today to buy curtains for our bedroom that my mom will make before she leaves next week and in a day or so our rooms and the nursery will finally be finished! Only a little over schedule

lakegirl, I have also been purging but I've come across a super irritating problem. I just got rid of six bags of crap and yesterday I came across MORE crap. I feel like the cycle is never ending. I am sure the organization I donate to is thrilled by my contributions but they've gotta be a little irritated about hearing from me once a week. Are you following any specific schedule for decluttering, like focusing on specific area of type of thing to purge? I have just been tackling it kinda randomly and maybe I need to re-consider my strategy.
Today is the last full day of ILs! So so happy! And they actually took dd to the aquarium with mh so I'm sitting on my couch nursing ds watching tv by myself. And they leave tomorrow! Sorry I'm just so excited!

I've been purging randomly too. I'm having trouble focusing on any one task so I just kind of wander here and there. Better than nothing though right?
I am staying away from my own clothes though. After DS I let the pp purge hit too hard and once I lost the weight I had nothing to wear
opheliainwaders how long do you get for mat leave? I can't imagine working right up until baby day...
I get 12 weeks, but it's unpaid apart from short-term disability. I'm also taking an unpaid sabbatical for 6 months afterward, so it's not really a question of the time so much as whether I want to squeeze out every penny before we lose my income. Blah.
Gotcha. In that case I'd probably pick a day to be off. I'm due Tuesday and I've been running around trying to do all my last minute things. While feeling like crap. I can't imagine working right now

judyblume14 I basically got the same 'baby could be here? ? ?' yesterday except we have to set an eviction date. Good luck making a decision about painting
carrots congrats on the new job opportunity! That's exciting!
ellabee glad you are feeling better, I support your SAH plan!
heybulldog56 happy last day of work! Hope it isn't too crazy
lakegirl I'm also at Ft. Knox level. Caboose problems
@joybaby5 hope your photos go well!
bazinga glad baby is doing well! Hang in there with the BFing, it'll settle down and you'll get into a groove.
meeggaannw hooray for your ILs leaving! I'm glad they took DD out so you can have some peace with LO
opheliainwaders I think having a week off is minimum if you can swing it so that sounds like a good plan. I have two weeks until baby eviction and I'm starting to stress about getting everything done that I'd like, including seeing friends pre-baby
