I'm on a 2 hr pumping schedule and sharing a room with another mama who has a jaundiced baby. I'm assuming no sleep will be had tonight between all the pumping noise and foot traffic in the room.
On another note, the nurses said B wouldn't settle into a good sleep (normal for him during the day) they asked if they could give him a bit of formula since he was still acting hungry. I caved and said yes even though I cried a little that it implied my supply and pumping wasn't sufficient (added to he poor weight gain at our last pedi appt). Well, I went down to the nursery just now and they said he flat out rejected it. I'm conflicted...cuz I feel a little satisfied that he didn't take it...but obviously want him to be full and nourished. Gah. So many feels today.

Biggest of hugs ellabee. We are on a two hour feedings schedule so I'll be around to chat. I just finished pumping and will be back around 12:30. Hang in there, you're doing great.

((Hugs)) back at ya. We'll get through this.
Gonna try to get an hr of sleep in. I just wish it didn't take me forever to fall asleep. The girl I'm sharing a room with is ... not quiet, which doesn't help.
Baby girl definitely has her days and nights backwards. She slept through the lab and toddler mayhem all day and now is wide awake. Hoping another dose of boob will knock her out

If nothing wise, this kid is on a nighttime routine already. First wake up happens between 1:44-1:47am and is finished by just after 2am. Second wake up used to be around 5am but the last couple nights it's been between 4-4:05am. If he's been this consistent, I imagine we'll be up again at around 6:30-7am.

I should never brag on my kids. W has decided tonight will not be like every other night and he spent the last 45 minutes after eating being wide awake and loud.

First rule of good baby sleep...never talk about good baby sleep.
On this note, I'll just say that I am surprisingly rested right now considering N is four days old

I am feeling the same way. Then realized that DD1 (same age as yours) became much more wakeful. After week 2. When my H abandoned me to go back to work....
