I can't believe it's already almost Feb! I guess I'm ready for it. Our weather has been yo-yo'ing so much lately which has been annoying. But that's Texas for you I guess. I'm headed to yoga here in a bit and am planning on a run sometime today too.
I am so glad it is almost Feb! That means that much closer to my EDD. Another Dr appt for me this morning, hopefully I can get some suggestions for getting these contractions to go away or do something.
BabyStandish you are a rockstar. Yoga and a run. Impressive.
nemomof2 I hope these contractions have been causing some cervical changes so you can get this party started! I labored on and off for weeks on end with my second. It was miserable. Hang in there!
I'm sick as hell. Went down like a pile of bricks on Saturday. Fever, cough, the whole 9. Gotta pull it together by tomorrow for clinical though.
LO has been having a backslide in her speech. So hard to watch. I know that it comes and goes; we went through this with our third. But we all think she's worse than he was and he was pretty damn bad. Keeping hope alive that her tenacity and speech therapy will pull her through. I can tell she has so much to say and her receptive language is off the charts. I know she's frustrated and it breaks my heart.
Good morning ladies I have been MIA for sooo long, I guess that is what happens when I actually have to work...lol....it has been so busy around here...I think I might be in a funk because AF came back for a visit this month... I seriously started having spotting and light cramping and was thinking it was implantation but nope just my body getting ready for another unwanted guest!!!! Ok enough complaining...the weather finally got cooler this weekend... last week I was sweating and the temp was in the 80's and now it is in the high 60's... DH has been working all day every day he is off busting his hump around the farm...he is fencing in the front of our property and then the side will get done... I think I am going to cheer myself up and go plan a trip to Disney! I am going to try and go back to look at all the AW's Also I can't believe I have a 2 year old!!!
kcrus, Yes, thankfully I have dilated to a 2, I am thinner and soft and my cervix has moved forward. I just needed to hear that there were changes at least otherwise I was going to go crazy pregnant lady on my doc I hope you get to feeling better. Its so hard to see the littles struggle especially when you know that they get it. I hope that the therapy continues to help and she improves.

Leo cried a lot this morning. But he cries when I leave him at my sisters', it takes a while for him to adjust. I'm calling the dc for updates. I can pick him up early if he's miserable but would like him to stay there. Today was a great example of how my days will be. I get to do all the drop offs and dh can help pick up 3x/wk.

ourcrazynavylife what a classy kitchen, hope Em has fun cooking in it. but jebus 4 hrs?! Dh is gonna suffer when I buy Leo his. ashlantic fx you aren't sick. I've been feeling a tickle in my throat off and on but so far nothing. That can change now that Leo is back at DC. nemomof2 It's such a challenge to juggle working to get ahead vs being home with the family. My dh is starting his cdl training and he'll be away Tue/Thurs in the evenings plus weekends. He sets his own schedule and wanted to dedicate more time but compromised. I want him home to see the kids (esp Leo) and NEED his help so I don't go crazy.

littlelion it could be done faster if two adults were working. My friends did theirs in about an hour and a half. It's just a lot of steps. But he's been so happy watching her play that he's not even grumpy any more.

littlelion hope Leo perks up after the rough drop off. Dealing with all the aspects of childcare has been one of the most stressful parts of parenting for me! BabyStandish I've been having yo-yo weather in Pa too! One of these days I'd like enough snow to take B out to play! Hope your run and yoga is fun! nemomof2 hope the dr has some good suggestions for you! Exciting you are so close to meeting your LO! kcrus oh no! Hope you are feeling better by tomorrow and sorry to hear that about your LO. You are doing everything you can for her!! Hope she turns it around soon! babyw15 sorry about AF Hope you can plan the Disney trip though!! ourcrazynavylife wow!! 76 days doesn't sound like much at all!!

B has not been sleeping well and yesterday woke up with what sounded like croup which of course makes sleep even worse (and I hate to let him cry when he's sick since it just makes all the symptoms worse) He seemed a little better this morning but praying he can go to daycare tomorrow! I feel like weekends go so fast and I don't even work Monday's! There's just never enough time to get everything done.
nemomof2, keeping you in my thoughts--not much longer now! kcrus feel better!
You guys talking about 60 and 80 degrees amaze me! It was 34 earlier and sunny so I bundled these babies up and outside we went. If it's over 20 and not windy, I do it lol
Feeling miserable but I powered through today. I figured it be easier to just keep moving because once I stopped I'm just going to be done. Thankfully lo was easy going today. I even reorganized his drawers so it's easier to see everything in there. It looks so nice right now. I wonder how long it'll last. Lol
Dh is making me some chai and then we're going to relax and watch the Bachelor.
littlelion how did his day go? BabyStandish sounds like a productive day for you! kcrus ugh, feel better lady. And big hugs to you. I hope speech keeps working and she starts making some gains. babyw15 sorry for the AF. Hugs. nemomof2 glad to hear things have changed a bit! ourcrazynavylife that seems so close already! reginaphalange3 poor B. I hope he continues to feel better. dashook we do the same thing here. It'd be a long, long winter if we were stuck inside for the duration.
Going to AW new littles coming home outfit! I made everything, even a swaddle wrap and car seat/nursing cover. I made DD and DS1 new sibling shirts to wear when they meet new LO
LO's party was yesterday. Had a blast. My SIL got her a slide, which she goes down head first. I'm a horrible mom, and didn't take pictures. My SIL did, though. Will post them when I get them.
Went for a walk today. LO in her wagon, me pulling. She loves it, but I'm soooo tired and my back is now killing me. I need to schedule a massage, and maybe see a chiropractor, for the first time ever. I don't know why, but they scare me. I have this irrational thought they are going to break my neck.
I have my glucose test and an appt tomorrow morning.

Leo is down for the night. He had an ok day at dc. He cried off and on in the a.m. but was fine by lunch. And he took a nap there too!
I'm about to have some hot chocolate with cookies. ashlantic very impressed with the dresser org...is that a kon mari tip? ourcrazynavylife ouch, poor em. Did you say something to the kid? reginaphalange3 Hi! Croup does not sound good. Fx he recovers quickly. Is that something you catch? nemomof2 that's so awesome you made his coming home outfit. I love the reindeer theme (elk?). My favs are the blanket and his hat. kcrus boo to more sickness. Keep the faith, your LO will be talking your ear off before you know it. I was a late talker and when I did begin to talk, I stuttered. As long as you're getting her the help she needs and trying to understand her, that makes all the difference.
This cold/sinus nonsense is kicking my ass. And since that wasn't enough, AF decided to join the party.
I originally planned on taking lo to story time, but since I'm a walking germ factory it's probably best we stay home. We did get 4 inches of snow last night and it's our first snow since before Christmas, so maybe we'll go play outside.
ourcrazynavylife hope you and Em were able to get some sleep! nemomof2 those are adorable! raven good luck with your glucose test! littlelion it is a kon mari tip. Hope Leo's day at DC goes better today!
