Been trying to keep up and LT, but sorry for being MIA this week. So happy for new babies and good luck to those with things moving along! It's been a roller coaster for me this week. I mentioned last week we took my dog to the vet bc of health stuff. Well the meds he was taking seemed to make things way worse. Wasn't eating or drinking or even getting up. Yesterday it was awful, and the vet said to bring him in. He said it could be anytime and honestly I'm at peace with it but DH wanted to bring him home. So now we are just kind of waiting to see how he does and it's pretty exhausting. I feel a bit silly bc I know he's just a dog but this is just more stress I can't deal with right now and I'm finding it so hard to make the call to put him down. Sorry for the downer post. All the baby and labor posts make me happy to read!
I was given fucking wild cherry oral gel that I'm supposed to smear on my hoo hoo. I just can't.......
Seriously?!? That's crazy to me. Does it actually work? And I'm laughing like mad that it's flavored. Like, why?
Because it's oral numbing gel. That apparently doubles as hoo hoo numbing gel? I don't know why they couldn't just give me some spray or something normal.

I'm so sorry about your dog, zcookiemonster. It's always hard to face those kinds of situations and make those decisions, especially when you're almost 9 months pregnant and have other stressors too. I hope your family enjoys your last days together with him.

WHAT! The last thing I would want to do is poke the bear after labor. I would just be throwing that stuff at it from a distance! Pretty sure you can buy the spray at the store if you're interested. I would give a good dose of that then put two witch hazel cotton pads on my maxi and carefully apply to crotch.

Oh no zcookiemonster I'm so sorry about your dog... I truly believe dogs are family, and I know how hard it is to watch them go.
So my contractions basically are gone. So that's fun...I still have a decent amount of pink/bloody discharge after I pee...but guessing that's just going to be less and less too until something actually starts.
shellbell It's a suburban, so generally durable except when stuff (like brake lines) rusts out. I don't know if it will need anything else or how sellable it would be with a known problem. And I'm afraid that buying any other car near the same price point would run the risk of needing major repairs, too.

flyinghorses6, I think your baby and my baby will be friends. They enjoy punking their mommies.
zcookiemonster, there's no such thing as "just a dog". Dogs are family. I actually think the loss of a pet can be just as hard as the loss of a person. Animals love unconditionally. There is nothing else like it.
