I'm getting ready for dd's first trip to the pediatrician! I'm a little sad because mh has to work today and will miss it. My dad is taking me while my s-mom hangs with ds.
Random: they said no driving for a week (no complications vaginal birth) but I don't remember that from last time. Or maybe I was just too out of it last time?
I am finally feeling normal after 7 hours of broken sleep last night. I am pretty confident she's back at her birth weight but I'm waking at 3.5 hours, that seems to be on her routine anyways.
I broke out my SSC solly wrap for F. I need to get the hang of the ring sling too. I bought it over the summer in hopes I could wear DD1 on my hip. 1st tri + 90 degree heat + 14 month old did not equal a successful ring sling experience!
carrots I had to go bathing suit shopping at 8 months out. It was..not fun. Why I thought an 8 month old needed swim classes is beyond me 😂
I think ds1 started at 5 months. The good news is that every other mom there was also pp and I don't even remember what everyone else looked like. I think we were all worried about ourselves
tex gahhhhhhh love it! I love that there are so many other babywearers here
lakegirl they definitely didn't say anything to me about not driving. Then again, I feel like they left me alone and didn't really tell me much of anything at all this time.

I bought coffee but I think I'm going to nap on the couch and save it for later. Getting DS1 ready and dropping him off at daycare sucked out the little energy I had.

Oh. My. God. to the tiny babies in the ridiculously fluffy cloth diapers. Be still my heart. But how do you ever get pants or onesies over top of them??

DD has outgrown all her NB carter's pjs, but the 3 mo are enormous on her...so annoying. DH and I did have a good laugh last night though when I was attempting to shove her in a fleece NB pair. If it was summer, she'd just sleep in a long sleeved onesie.
Well I put him in a cloth diaper and he promptly peed in it. But I didn't know until I took it off so that means that he at least is fitting one of the brands we have.

I think I need to come to an early acceptance of the fact that I'm going to smell like puke for the next 8-9 months. I was hoping I wouldn't have another spitter, but it is what it is!
