BOTH boys are sleeping and the tiny one isn't even on my boob! Score! It dawned on me that I hadn't heard anything from DS1's room in awhile and when I checked on him, he was dead asleep on his bed. Praise Jesus!
My friends are saying it should be 4 weeks post c-section to lift more than 15 lbs. And after yesterday that sounds right but it puts a serious wrench in our plans for DH work scheduling the next two weeks.
Can we teach DS to climb into his crib with a step stool, that is the question...
This is my plan. DH is back at work on Monday. I have my mom to help with nursery drop off/pick ups 3 mornings a week, but I can't expect her to then hang all day 5 days a week and do bedtime at 7:00pm. I figure if he can get to the top of the step stool, then I'm more guiding him into the crib? ITs not the best option, but it's all I've got.

silvermelody and weeklyplanner, DS1 used a step stool to get into his crib back when he still slept in one. We would just supervise and "spot" him as he climbed over the rail. It works!
Ok. I'm done with today. L just had a bloody nose, A and DS2 are fighting like cats and dogs and have been sequestered to different areas of the house. I'm single parenting for the next 3 hours. But I think the two who are fighting are going to bed when L does. And then the Big C (DS1)and I are going to do kitchen cleanup and eat ice cream from the carton with a spoon.

Nurse at my wound care appointment confirmed 4-6 weeks to lift that much weight. We'll set up the step stool tomorrow and try it while DH is home.
Two of the three nasty spots are almost closed and the biggest one is improved. Gotta go back Monday for hopefully the last check
My scale says N is up to 7lb 5oz, she must be pulling a lot of milk per feed. Doing another weighed feed right now to see. But she pooped so I'll have to re start before the other boob

Ugh. 4-6 weeks is a long time. Great. I'm really yearning to get back to my normal routine with DS (and of course bring DD along). I feel so useless relying on others to do so much for him.
I go for an incision recheck tomorrow. Hoping my infection is healed. Glad to hear yours is doing better.
The two honey badgers went to bed and I decided to make cookies with some random energy I pulled out of god only knows where. They turned into one giant pan cookie (not sure what I did wrong..) and so they are delicious but shaped wrong.
