Is it me or has our board had an unusually high incidence of prodromal labor?
Is it more likely for STMs to have prodomal labor? (I know some FTMs here are having it too, though.) If so, it makes sense that there's a lot of it on our board. I don't know the split exactly, but I think there are more STMs than FTMs on the February board, right?

You're scaring me man. I had prodromal labor for days with DD1 and was convinced it was a FTM thing. Say it isn't so that it's more common second time around 😦

Mmmm looks like it's more due to other factors. Unless you've had several children.

I had prodromal labor for 48 hours with my first birth and none with my second if that gives you any peace.

Ok this is good. Real-world experience..I shall follow in your foot steps!
No no pivot you will not be alone. I'm fully intending to be pulling up the rear with you. Unless the gas pains I'm experiencing are actually me dilating to 7 cm right now 😅

I'm a FTM and for me, the prodromal labor has been on and off for 3 weeks. I'm so hormonal and irrational that I started to wonder if the baby doesn't want to meet me.
Freaking false labor. Contractions have all but disappeared after throwing a few at me 3-5 minutes apart. I'm exhausted and over this. I also have elbows in my pelvis.
Ugh, I feel ya. Sorry they tapered off, it's so annoying

I have issues.
Haha I said that to my H, why doesn't he want to meet us? Lol So I understand
An hour and a half of contractions 9-10 minutes apart got MH doing some house chores. Contractions were nothing a bunch of water and some rest couldn't fix, but MH may have just realized that we're really close to baby time.😉
Update: after 4 hours of labor and one hour of pushing, Louis Michael is here!!! 7 lbs 6 oz, 21 inches. I'll post a pic and more details in the morning!!! We are so in love.
