musicallyinclined when you bottle feed, will it be formula or pumped milk? I am thisclose to being there, but I have no freaking clue how to fit a pump in. She's eating so often that I'm just not sure how to time it. I'm seriously considering opening the formula samples.
It'll be pumped milk. I have an oversupply issue and if I don't pump I am miserable. I started pumping after he ate to help clear out my boobs and to try and alleviate my mastitis. he can eat and I can still get about 3-4 oz out. I'm considering medication to reduce my supply. My boobs are killing me from fullness.
We took belly shots this morning and had an utter blast. H did the photos, but then DS1 decided he wanted to help push the button. (After thinking that the camera on the tripod was a telescope and he could look at the moon, thanks Daniel Tiger.) Well we wound up with some good ones of me, some hilarious outtakes, a really sweet one of DS1 and I... then we lowered the tripod, H dashed in front of the camera, and DS1 took some shots of H and I! (DS1 is 2 years old, fyi.)
No more noticeable contractions or anything over here. Which is good because I don't want to go into labor until at least Thursday.

DH just asked if he should make any plans on the 14th. I told him no, let's just keep having sex to get this baby out. That's kind of romantic, right?
My kids are on a rampage today. DD2 was ready for her 1st nap by 10am, and DD1 was sobbing over not being able to watch her tv show in the living room while DH cleaned. She was happily in the playroom just before that. On the plus side 1 seems to be feeling better but 2 is still a snot factory. I think I'll take them out for a walk to the store later, buy more meds for 2 and try to walk this baby out. It doesn't help that my hormones have my patience on thin ice. Also making spicy chicken for supper, and plan to cut up a whole pineapple later and eat it. None of these things worked for either of my other pregnancies, but I'd like to beat my due date just once. Going late sucks hard and my empty calendar (other than pending midwife appointments) for the next 2 weeks is just calling to me. My calendar is never empty.

littleredfish, I feel you on the empty calendar. I've started to think about just scheduling things to do on random days because I hate having nothing to look forward to except the unknown delivery date. Lol
flyinghorses6, Your birth story is great! While exhausting in the beginning, the end went super fast which sounds like a good mix of interesting.
crazycatlady6, Hugs for all the emotions. I know I've had more than a few moments where I've stopped and thought, "what the f is wrong with me?!".
loves2shop4shoes, hang in there! Keeping my fingers crossed that the rest goes much more smoothly and you can be holding your little girl very soon!
I totally understand the crappy sleep due to H. My DH doesn't snore, but he has very, shall we say special, moments that interrupt sleep. He has really bad reflux issues that wake him up loudly gasping for breath, which is horrifying and scary. But he also has very bizarre and vivid dreams/ sleepwalking episodes that annoy and make me laugh all at the same time. Last night, he bolted upright and started running around the room until I told him everything was alright and to go back to sleep. On previous occasions, I've woken up to him unplugging the alarm clock, wrapping the cord around it, and hugging it back to sleep. He's gone downstairs to his desk and come back with paperclips which he tried to use to clip his pillow cases together. And multiple times of him "waking" up and getting ready for work hours before the alarm goes off. I also love when he bashes the hell out of the alarm clock trying to turn it off when it's his phone alarm that's really sounding.
He keeps life entertaining. I keep threatening setting up night video to send it off for scientists to study.
The astrological trifecta didn't send me into labor and I am bummed. Today is my due date and I am feeling certain that she's not coming any time soon. Monday, I'm going to ask for a membrane sweep and to schedule an induction. This lady needs an end date.

Baby will only nurse if he is essentially sitting upright on my leg. My arms are getting tired from holding this guy up. I guess he's having some reflux?

shellbell, that's what we had last night! A church lady brought a chicken/rice casserole, I'm debating on whether we should eat that or if it's going to be gross. I feel like I remember her casseroles being questionable...
What's for dinner? I'm seriously lacking inspiration.
It's in the upper 60's here so we're grilling steaks and making some buttered egg noodles because I'm craving them. Thinking about making some blondies with a maple cream cheese sauce for dessert

I forgot about egg noodles. They were my jam in college. Steaks sound awesome. I might be making DH go to the store (again).

shellbell we sear our steak in cast iron and then put it in the oven. I think we use the Alton Brown method. Like 30 second seat on each side then in the over at 500° for two minutes a side but that's for a thick cut steak. May need to adjust the timing for whatever cut/thickness you have.
