Omg MissDemeanor, some of the parents went all out at DDs daycare too. I was so surprised. I bought a pack of dum dums that had little to/from stickers and thought that was enough....
Good thing DD isn't old enough to be embarrassed by me. 🙄
How can toddlers produce so much snot? SO. MUCH. No thank you I do not want a snotty open mouth kiss. I'm just over here counting down the hours until I catch this cold with my poor recently pregnant and sleep deprived immune system.

Also, fftc: I went though DDs valentine stash and ate several chocolates. She doesn't need all the sugar and she's too young to notice anything missing.... 😬 sorrynotsorry

I ate all of DS meager Halloween stash. He was too little to remember it existed by the next morning. We let him have some that night and then hid it away

Same over here. I keep telling myself that nursing is building up my immunity. And drinking all this water has to help too.
For the FF mamas out there. I got a bunch of formula coupons that I can send anyone who wants them. $30 in similac and $10 in enfamil. PM me your info and I'll send.
I also have the sample cans, formula bottles and single serve packs for both similac and enfamil but I'm guessing shipping costs might outweigh the actual value.
@orangecrush, I have the align II pant, which has a pretty high waist. They're buttery soft but unless you take super good care of them they pill very easily.
Today I bought the wunder pant. It "hugs" a little more than the align I feel like and the waist is slightly lower. Still high enough to suck in my post partum flub though.

judyblume14, I have zero experience with that but omg, I can just imagine the mess that is your washing machine. Also, my H side-eyed my LLR purchases until he saw the leggings on. He said the dinosaurs on them were ridiculous (whatevs) but that they fit great and go ahead and buy more.
ashtog, How exciting!!! About the photo shoot and the STTN!
I had a miserable night. My allergies caused a lot of congestion which has now decided to travel to my lungs and I have a super annoying cough and can't breathe well when I lay down, even if I prop myself up. Vick's didn't do anything and I need a refill on my inhaler. Grrr.
In less irritating news, H and I walked to the farmer's market and burrito place with the kiddos and it was so nice. Minus my coughing and lack of air to walk very far, it was great to go on one! I feel mentally better. I really need to make this a daily thing.
Also, W had a mini blowout and all his sleepers are in the wash so he's fancy today.

Thanks! I had the wunder unders before and they were always a good fit, I definitely need a higher rise these days!
FFWC: I have never owned a pair of leggings. Ever. Not even as a kid. Too self conscious for that life. My gym pants are the closest I get.
My mom came over so naturally C went to sleep as soon as she got here. I don't know what it is, she's like a miracle worker. She hadn't napped since she woke up til grandma got here. I got a shower and the dogs got to go out so things are accomplished. While she's still asleep I'm going to run to the bank so there's money for our mortgage payment 😳

Hi ladies! I feel like such a lurker when mh is off. We are just always on the go and I only find time to read and LT. Today we went to the farmers market and a park for lunch/play for dd. Then I ran to the grocery store with R while dd slept. I tried a cold brew coffee from Starbucks while I shopped, not too bad and hopefully will get me the burst of energy I need to get through this afternoon.
Wtf computer. Crash last night and now my external hard drive will not mount and it's saying it can't be repaired. So Q absolute freak out, and then calming down a little and going online to find a recovery software that will work. Thankfully I found something that sounds as though it's got 100% success rate, but it's taking forever but I feel like I'm stuck in limbo. I need a freaking break. Also a beer.
Also because mental breakdown is imminent I just enlisted big C and DD1 to change L. I'm laying on the couch drinking coffee and snuggling C. And tonight we are taking the bigs out to see Lego batman movie
ashtog, I hope the hard drive recovery goes well. I've been there, it's not fun.
Just walked into the nursery to this. Same cat.
Hey! Do you like that diaper bag? I am in the market for a backpack style bag, my current bag isn't super convenient with both kids.
I do like the bag, however can't attest to its convenience yet. We got 2 of these and one regular style diaper bag for our shower and so far have been using the bigger, "regular" type til we are able to see what we don't need in the bag on a regular basis. I do see myself using the backpack style for day trips etc when I have to carry the bag more than just from car to shopping cart.

Parenting fail.
I realized I hadn't heard anything from DS1's room in between doing laundry loads and packing so I went searching. He locked himself in my bathroom and decorated everything in blue sharpie. Got it off the glass, most of the tile, and the non-plastic parts of the toilet. Reduced the appearance of it on the walls and toilet seat but it's still there and on the door and toilet paper holder. I can't tell if I'm more mad at him or at myself. Probably myself.

N refused to nap on her normal schedule today which means I'm exhausted and solo parenting. Both kids just simul-pooped and DS was yuuuuge and N was wailing as I changed him.
Also this damn wound is taking forever to heal. The two smaller spots are closed but the biggest one is taking it's sweet time. They want me back Friday and probably all next week. And she wants me to discuss it with the endocrinologist next month.
