E clusterfed from 9-12 last night, then passed out for four hours so I slept too. I should've set an alarm, but I feel super bad that I let her go that long without a feeding.
Then I fed her for 30 minutes and she passed back out for 2 hours. Fed her again. That one was a quickie feed before she passed out again. She's currently asleep. I'm so glad my LC is coming today so I can hopefully resolve my latch issues and talk to her about the major variances in awake/nursing time.
I'm thinking maybe she's just been cluster feeding for four days and is now exhausted and passing out? TBD.
So, super super excited to see the LC. And my dad is coming up with my stepmother and grandmother to meet the baby. I pray to God that my grandmother behaves herself. I have zero patience for her usual nonsense. Zero.
flyinghorses6, how are things with your H? He's back to work right? Did you murder him for being a hot drunk mess the other night? I'd suggest a sex embargo but that's sort of a given with PP.
loves2shop4shoes is LO having weight gaining issues? Is she back to birth weight? If she's gaining, I would absolutely feel zero guilt about a 4 hour stretch at night. Wake them during the day if you want, but 4 hours isn't unreasonable at night unless there's a weight issue.
LO just slept for 5 hours. Well. Ate at 4, cried for awhile, and then woke up 5 mins ago. But still. How to get that stretch at night so I can sleep too?

loves2shop4shoes once that baby starts gaining weight I wouldn't wake her up for feeds. Our night is all over the place too! R nurse from 7-9 last night (it felt like forever!!). I put her down in the RNP at 9:30, she slept until 1, nursed 15 min. Then up at 3:15 nursed 15 min. Then slept until 6:15 I picked her up to nurse but she fell asleep on my chest and actually nursed at 7:30 and she's back asleep on DH. She's really grunty and groans a lot in the morning.
Hopefully your LC appointment goes great! And your gran behaves herself!
He's back to work but sitting on the couch drinking coffee right now. Not too sure why actually...
I did not murder him. But he knows I wasn't happy. At least he cleaned up! And he was extra nice and supportive since he knew I was annoyed.

Our sleep is all over the place to. I really need to get an accessible clock so I can figure out how long his stretches are. We had to rearrange our room to accommodate the pnp so my phone is elsewhere now. And as pps have said loves2shop4shoes, if she's above birthweight and gaining, I wouldn't worry about waking her at night to eat. That's our pedi's protocol. Though he suggests waking him during he day to encourage a schedule. Ha. Schedule before 4 months makes me laugh, maybe I just suck at it.

shellbell, she got discharged at 7.13. Her birth weight was 8.3. At the pedi on 2/15, she was 7.11. The following day at the pedi she was 7.13 (after a night of cluster feeding.)
Have another pedi appointment tomorrow and we'll see what she is then.
How are you all tracking your feedings? I found an app called MamaBaby and it is a godsend! I can track pee, poop, feedings, and it gives me a report every day. Highly recommend.
loves2shop4shoes- editing my comment to you since I saw your weights. So close and gaining so 1 night is likelybfine. But once to birth weight or over let them sleep (you sleep too!).
My mom is taking an old swing that doesn't work and a car seat that was in the accident to babies r us for me today to get two of the 25% off coupons that we'll use to get LO1's new booster seats. Then I can actrhave all 3 kiddos in my car (god help me with getting 3 kids in and out of a car!). Today is the last day for this trade in event so must get done today!!!
Also realized that something with our address change didn't work 100% because I didn't get my license plate renewal forms so need to find last thing years to order online now.
Hopefully our final weight check at 1:45 this afternoon. Lil G should be fine as long as he's still gaining so FX Miss O has kept upbher progress. If not I'll be calling a LC to start helping me since BF and supplementing is hard and getting old-esp if not working. But...not going there now just positive thoughts both are cleared!!

@jacks605, I hope your weight checks go well!
loves2shop4shoes, I hope your appointment with the LC is helpful. When F was a newborn he clustered from like 6-10 and then had a stretch of 3 or 4 hours of sleep, so I learned to go to sleep immediately! Hopefully she will be back at her birth weight soon and you can let her sleep as long as she wants!
I've scheduled myself a lot of things to do today, since today is the day I really wanted LO to be born. Looks like that's not happening, so I'm trying to keep busy to keep my mind off of it. It's supposed to be nice again, so we'll probably play outside this afternoon for a little bit. Getting spoiled by this nice weather!

We're at the hospital still but getting discharged after lunch. All is well with baby for which I am so grateful. I'm ready to get out of here!
BFing is as challenging as everyone says. Last night a nurse told me I should supplement and I got really upset. But the pedi said she looks super healthy and it's fine to hold off until after her first appointment on Thursday. That was what my gut was saying, too. My nipples are beat up though. We better get the hang of it soon!

I'm using Baby Feed Timer. It sounds similar--times feeding, reminds you of which side, tracks pee, poop, growth if you have stats, even pumping. It then gives you a daily and weekly summary, average feed length and average time between feeds. I really like it so far.
@jacks605 same thing happened when we moved. Did you get your license address changed? We didn't because DMV told us we didn't need a new license, so I had to go to town hall to do our yearly vehicle registration. And they put our new address in the DMV system.
loves2shop4shoes sounds like she's doing great with gaining. For reference, LO was born at 8lb9oz and was discharged at 7lb13. No one was concerned about that weight loss.

Today my H and I are going to look for a new SUV. We're hoping to get something with a 3rd row.. any suggestions? He's interested in a Dodge Durango I think? I don't even know if I've seen one before.

Kia Sorrento. My parents have one, and I love it. The warranty is amazing too. I'd recommend the guy we worked with at Northtown on Sheridan if you're looking. Transitowne is also good and where I bought my Kia Sportage in 2011.
ETA they come in AWD too, if that's important to you
flyinghorses6- No I haven't updated my license yet. Maybe that was what does it not postal. I'd assumed the letter/notice would have been FWD to my new house.
L is having some tummy trouble and it's keeping us both up at night. He's grunting and straining like he needs to poop alllll night long. I gave a little stimulation with Vaseline on a q-tip which helped him go, but I feel so badly for him! His stools are normal and runny and he can go during the day so I don't think he's constipated. Dr Google says this is grunting baby syndrome. Wut? Has anyone heard of this? I'm wondering if I should move up his 2 week appointment

That was actually my choice! My brother has one and it's so nice. We got my Jeep from Transitowne so we'll probably start there. If we don't have any luck I'll let you know!! Thank you!!!

Ds2 gave me some decent sleep last night. I was nervous because my mom is gone now and I won't ask DH for help when he had to work. I let him sleep in the mamaroo instead of the pnp, and I know that made a difference. I think we are going to borrow a rnp from SIL.
I definitely suggest an app to track feedings. I use Baby Log. But I think they are all similar, just having one is what matters (regardless of which one you use). I just love that it takes any memory or thought out of it for me.

Good luck! We have 2 Kias now, and we have had no trouble. The sportage is 5.5 years old and we bought a van in September. The people at transitowne are really nice too. The salesperson we had 5.5 years ago only had a job because his mom was a sales manager there. He was nice but not that great.
I go get my oil changes there. Mostly because walking distance to the cider mill. Mmmm donuts.

We love our Honda Pilot. It's a great size and you can load it up with the features you want and it's still pretty reasonably priced.
DH and I were at our Cape house doing renovation work all weekend. We let DD watch entirely too many Daniel tiger and Sophia the first episodes, but we got a lot done. I basically nursed B then handed him off to DH for a whole day while I did a tile job that I'm pretty proud of! We have guests coming for Easter, so we want to finish up all our projects.
Today is a lazy day that just involves driving home. Daycare is closed again and I'm looking forward to them being open tomorrow to get back into a routine.

I think it's safe to say DS is getting the hang of nursing because my nipples are starting to look all chewed up. We didn't have to syringe feed at all yesterday, and his diaper count almost doubled. I'm hopeful that the MW will come today and say his weight is starting to go back up. All of my big babies loose so much weight right off the get go then we have to battle their lazy eating ways to get it back. I feel like he's doing better than DD1 did though.
I'm also worried he's having mild reflux. He's not spitting up, but he gets hiccups after every feed. He will eat, be burped and seem fine. Then we lay him down and he's does this thing where he sounds like a cat about to throw up, and then he gets hiccups. And they seem to bother him where the stuff I've read says they don't usually bother the babies; he gets PISSED about them. It also obviously extends the night feeding process because he won't sleep with hiccups. We've had to cosleep every night so far just to make him comfortable enough to sleep. I'd like to get him into his bassinet but it's not working out so well.
Ugh. We're at the orthopedic pediatrician's office. Sabine has hip dysplasia just like G did. She's in the nasty Pavlik harness and my heart is just breaking at doing this all again. The countdown begins. 12 weeks to healthy hips. Praying that's all it takes.

Still pregnant! But, my midwife delivered three babies over the weekend (which is insane for a home birth MW), so I'm glad that I didn't make that 4, or get stuck with one of her backups. Ctx have been around all day but I'm not paying attention to them yet. I'm back in the swing of my Monday routine and basically trying to keep the house spotless and laundry all caught up.
Am I weird that I don't want a baby tracking app? We tracked diapers for DS1 for like 4 days and that was it. I doubt I'll track much with this kid. I always knew about when he last ate, though.

I'm sorry! I have a friend whose eldest went through that, before I met them, though. I know you can wear with a harness... check out the group Special Needs Babywearing on fb if you want more help/advice with that.

I'm sorry you have to deal with the hip dysplasia again, ls2012. Hopefully it's resolved after the 12 weeks, and it will be a distant memory before too long.
littleredfish, it kind of sounds like silent reflux. DS had hiccups all the time, but they never bothered him. I might say something to your MW or to his pediatrician at your next checkup. It may not be, but IMO it's better to get it checked than to wonder!
Yes, I am indeed still here. And yes I know that walking and spicy food and sex are supposed to start labor. Bye Felicias
I have mail to take downstairs and I cannot bring myself to take it. It's been two work days now..they gonna axe me. But I'm dreading talking to the 5 ppl I have to pass with dumb comments on my way to and from the postage room. When's the baby coming? How the eff should I know...
