Here we go again. I figured out its heartburn time for me. Pretty easy week, I'm going to Raleigh again for a few days at the end of week. Anyone have anything exciting this week?

🎶where is my motivation, no time for motivation 🎶
My neck is having a weird reaction to something in the air, so I look like a dalmatian with red spots on my neck chest. It seems to be calming down so hopefully it's gone soon.

Tomorrow will be my first time getting stitches that aren't related to child birth. I'm having a mole removed. It looks like melanoma but it's not. So apparently they want to cut it all out so I don't get re biopsied over and over.

Are you sure you'll get stitches? When Brandon had his mole removed they didn't do any stitches and there's minimal scarring.

I had to have this done too. I'm kinda annoyed about it bc I have a decent size scar from it. But better safe than sorry.

I have already had it biopsied- that doesn't leave a scar typically. But she told me over the phone I would have stitches. I think it depends on how deep they have to cut to get it out of all layers of the skin so it can't come back.

My biopsies originally looked like horrible scars but were faded and gone after a year. Yours is still scarred? It's pretty small and on my leg so I'm okay with it.

Yeah it's very noticeable. It's on my back. You have to clean and dress the wound for a while. I could barely reach it to clean it. I had H do it for a day I think but then I had to go on a business trip so I was on my own. So I probably didn't do a great job of aftercare. If yours is small and on your leg you should be good.

I already have mederma so I'll just add it to my daily slathering lol.

That reminds me I need some of that. It helps with the stretch marks right?
Starting Dr Seuss week fun today! Z has been running around with no diaper, sat on the potty and immediately peed!
Yay go Z! N went to school in just underwear today, I'm really anxious to see how she does.
She'll do great. They are freaking amazing at our school (clearly I'm biased lol). They're sleep training her now so hopefully next month no more pull ups or diapers at night.

We all deserve gold stars for potty training lol
Is A trained during the day then? That's awesome! I think she will do great there, I'm planning to reward her on Friday with a book from the book fair. I'm just so anxious to get a report of how she did today, maybe they will send me an email during the day.

Yea for the most part we have one accident a week and she stays dry during nap time. They did all the work. I just followed there lead. I talked to A this week if no accidents she gets a book and a cupcake. She's so excited. I hope it works. Tell N teachers what you plan to do for a praise I was told it helps them reinforce it with them.

Good idea! I will talk to them. I had to tell N that they don't have m&m's and stickers at school, so hopefully she doesn't get mad she won't get a reward there. But she's loving the praise to at home so hopefully that is enough at school.
Feeling better after resting a lot of the weekend. I went to a bag sale yesterday (LSB in mason) and got 53 items for $8 ish. It was $20 to fill a bag, but I had a leftover GC with $1 left on it but they said it rang up with like $13 on it. Either way crazy good deal. It's mainly Gymboree, baby gap and carters things, some boutique or random items. All in like new condition. I'll try to take a pic tonight, it's all so cute! They'll do another in the fall so I'll post in the PB when I see it coming up!

The teachers let them get extra other stuff like first on the swing and I keep stickers in our car and just give her to them at the end of the day. Helps with counting. Totally the teachers idea but they may work for you guys as well

I wanted to go but last time I was alone and confused. I'd like to tag along next time

She's a girl so it will probably go very well, but in case it doesn't. Don't be discouraged. Kids sometimes are different at school than at home.
Moving the dc convo here...JoBub he'll do great, I'll be curious to hear if their curriculum is similar, I'm guessing so. The circle time is so fun, they do the weather and pledge. And their music class looks so fun, N is always singing the songs.

I had something like this done a few years ago. It was super quick and easy, and I'm a big wimp about needles and knives. I did end up with a little scar because i didn't do a good job of keeping the ointment on it like they told me to. It was on my leg if that makes a difference.

I think there's a huge difference between nap time (especially super structured/scheduled naps at DC) and night time sleep. Bub has been dry during naps at DC for months, but he still wears a pull-up at night and it's only been the last week or so that he started waking up to pee at night. And he even has accidents during naps at home if he takes a longer nap than normal, or goes down later than normal.
