Holy smokes, randoms are moving fast today! Trying to catch up...

My parents are visiting for the weekend. Both kids love my mom, but my dad is just not a baby person, so DD is uncomfortable with him. I feel bad because I think he gets his feelings hurt when she cries for him, but really, Dad, stop whistling at her and asking her over and over to come to you. She is not a dog.

Ok, I've come back to report that I found the vaccum. In a closet I didn't know existed. It's where the air filters are, but apparently it's also large enough to hide the vacuum in. Ok, then. Why not just put it back in the closet you got it from, with all the other cleaning supplies??

Also, I just vacuumed all the rugs and washed the floors while DD slept - whyyyyyy are her lil knees dirty?!?!

Ravioli and veggies while feeding DD

4 diet cokes

but DS has been under the weather for a week. DH brought him to the Dr. on Wednesday and they said it was just a cold. We went back today and they said it's a respiratory infection and an ear infection! I feel so bad that he's been sick for days without us knowing…it's hard to tell sometimes because he's such a good/chill baby!
I really hate our Dr. I've been wanting to switch and I think this is the final straw.

DD threw up again after her afternoon nap. She is totally unfazed by it. Called the nurse line. They didn't seem super concerned as long as she has wet diapers and her mouth is wet inside. I gave her water & pedialyte. Other than the random throw up she is totally normal acting. Babies are weird.

We just woke up from naps in the Rainbow house. L was in her crib and me and Lucy (my foster boxer) in my bed with the blinds open and sun shining onto the bed. It was divine. Well, maybe not for Lucy--she has a cone of shame and a stockinette bandaging her ear. Now, L is pushing her walker around chasing Lucy and barking. Poor Lucy keeps running into things trying to avoid her. Me? I'm just dying laughing.

I'm sorry she is sick. It's scary when they throw up. L threw up a couple times in one evening, and woke up the next day just fine. I thought it was a reaction to some food, but in the next days, I ended up with the stomach flu. It must not phase them like it does to us.

Thanks! I hope it isn't a bug. It's only one time a couple of hours after her last meal/bottle, hopefully she'll keep this last bottle down. I'm ready for her to be healthy. I feel like it is always something....even mild runny nose.
