Late start today apparently for all of us.
I got my eyelash extensions done last night and they are AMAZING. I seriously saved more time than I anticipated this morning getting ready. I call that a win, and worth the money.
Nothing crazy here today, DH is supposed to have a game but the forecast is calling for rain, so I guess we'll see.
I'm mentally already on vacation. This week is DRAGGING. I am so ready for it to be Saturday and to be heading to the beach for a couple days.
Also wondering if this week we'll find out what's going on with my boss and the position he applied for. They are known for dragging their feet here, but I'm really ready to know.
Blah day here too. Woke up late and had to rush getting the kids to daycare. Forgot DS' glasses at home, and the check for my DCP. Whoops. I haven't been grocery shopping in a while, so packing DS' breakfast and lunch today was so difficult.

We are in sleep regression/teething/head cold hell over here. I need the cold and/or teeth to pass so we can sleep train. We never had to do that with N, so I'll be lurking the sleep training threads and asking for advice once we get through this.
This morning I was feeding G before work, and he had a coughing fit. I managed to unlatch him just in time for the contents of his stomach to come up all over me. I had to completely change my outfit, which led to me leaving late for work. So that's how my day started. The weather is gray and gloomy here, too, so that is not helping my mood.
I have this little couch setup in my office for the kids. I just laid down and closed my eyes for 5 minutes after pumping. It was soooo hard to get up.
Pumping at work. Being up until midnight with those storms about did me in.
I suggested to the Kindergarten teacher we bring back nap time today. I offered to supervise.
It really would be in the best interest of the kids. Do it for them:)
A lot of kids at daycare were talking about the storms last night so most were up late (although they were out of here by 11). Good luck to those teachers today, too!
DS2 woke up to nurse at 6. I changed his diaper and clothes and laid him back down to snooze until it was time to leave. I picked him up when it was time to leave and he tossed his head back and forth, found his thumb, and snuggled into my arms fast asleep. I didn't want to disturb him:( Luckily he woke up all smiles when I put him in his car seat and gave me a great big grin as I left his daycare room this morning.
Day 2 of co sleeping went waaaay better than day 1. I'm only doing it because we are both sick but I'm worried she is going to have a hard time getting back to sleep in her crib. We are all still stuck at home because everyone is sick. It's boring being stuck at home with a baby and toddler!
I'm glad you made it through the storms, fem and erien22846! Tornados are one of my biggest fears and I don't even live in a very active tornado area. Though, there have been more and more over the years. One tore through my ILs' farm in MA a few years ago and destroyed their barn, some out buildings and flattened houses on their street. They were so fortunate it didn't turn towards their house or they might be dead.
DS is back to waking up every night at 12:30, 3am and 5am. DH and I agreed this morning that we are sleep training starting Friday night, so that if he cries a lot during the night we don't have to worry about the girls being tired at school the next day. Hopefully it won't take too long for him to get it. It only took 1 night for DD1 to get it and maybe 2 nights for DD2 to get it. My mom emailed me to tell me that he fell asleep on the floor at 8:45am and was still asleep at 10:45. He took a 2 hour nap Saturday morning, too, which is unusual for him. He is usually a 30 minute napper.
DD1's family birthday party is this Saturday. I hate having parties on Saturdays when I can't take Friday off to clean and prep. DH will be home Friday, so he said to give him a list of stuff to do, but he sucks at cleaning, so I'm going to have to suck it up and just start tackling stuff every night. For example, when he vacuums, you can still see loads of dog hair under the baseboards or around the edges of the rooms. And god forbid you actually move anything to vacuum under/around it.
I had my physical today which went well. Dunkin Donuts forgot my donut with my breakfast sandwich. The horror! I was dead set on getting one at another if I passed one but I didn't pass one. Just making my way to nap times over here.

Are you all doing anything for the kids for St Pattys day? I'm not Irish so I usually just wear green. Haven't seen or heard of anything cute to do.
I am (part) Irish, so I will make Irish soda bread and corned beef and cabbage that my preschooler will declare disgusting. And I may do a rainbow craft with him, or something with clovers.
It is so dreary here. I am literally so unmotivated to do anything but sit on the couch. I folded a load of laundry, and have another in the dryer. Supper is crockpot chicken. DD is napping and I dont even want to get up and pee.

Nope - dressing them in green for school. The daycare does the whole leprechaun left a mess thing and they love that (this is for DS2 specifically). They will probably have green food and drinks too, they usually do cute stuff like that. Got the baby a super cute first St. Patrick's Day outfit.
I honestly have no idea if they'll do anything at DS1's school, he is also on a dress code but fortunately for us one of their main colors is a Kelly green so it's perfect for the day.

One of my two co-worker BFF's just told me she is pregnant and I am dying of excitement for her! It's her first baby and she is due in September. I am the only one with kids at all in my department, I'm glad to have another person joining me!

Both kids were up by 5. Why??? Then we went to DD's swimming lessons. DD passed out on the couch at 11. DS is napping on my back. Just puttering around the house cleaning.
We'll be headed to Minnesota Friday evening but DH bought corned beef to make at some point. He eats the beef, I eat the cabbage.
ksyknelvr73 having co-workers in the same stage of life is awesome. 6 teachers had babies this year, so lots of comparing notes and questions about pumping etc. happen daily.

Having women at the same stage of life as me at work is one thing I miss about my old company. Now I'm 1 of 4 females (out of 23 employees) and two have grown kids and the third isn't married. Now I just rely more on you ladies:)
No st Patrick's day plans here. If we get around to doing any crafting and I can remember, I'll try to incorporate a shamrock or some green, haha. Each holiday my mom gets the related window stickies at the dollar store for DD1 so we have those up. But that's about it. They've done some stuff at preschool about it.
I'm half Irish, H is 100% Irish, so we do it all lol. Next week one night I'll make beef Guinness stew and another night I'll do the corned beef, potatoes and carrots. I'll have soda bread and scones for breakfast next week. We have Irish shirts to wear, my house is already decorated with the Irish flag flying, I've pinned a couple crafts...
I love Guinness stew - so freaking good!!
We don't do anything for St. Patrick's Day. Back when we were young and unmarried we'd go out and have some beers with friends, but that's about it. I'm not Irish at all, but my mom would make corned beef, cabbage, carrots and potatoes (all in the pressure cooker) and make us eat it and it was so disgusting. I won't eat corned beef now that I have a choice. lol
