Anyone else in the path of the snow this week. I'm sitting my desk anxiously seething at the idea of snow days during March, which the month that every teacher's nightmares are made of. Please, please, please give me two days off, snow! I fully expect tomorrow off, but Wednesday will be a toss up. Us NY'ers are pretty hardened to snow, but I could definitely use the time off.
I am in the path of snow! We have gotten ZERO snow days this year which really pisses me off because typically I have at least 3, if not 5. I am definitely hoping for tomorrow off and then if I am really lucky, Wednesday as well!
Hasn't snowed here for literally 5/6 years. I love snow so much! I remember being at school, in my last year and they can to cancel school at 10:30am as it was snowing that much, the buses wouldn't be able to drop the students home. It was a mad rush to get everyone on the buses and drive before the roads were cut off. Luckily I lived in walking distance (20 min walk) so I was having great fun walking home lol.
I got home and my Dad was still at home as he couldn't get his work van up the road as we lived on a hill! He just kept rolling back down lol. My mum was day off that day anyway, and it did not stop snowing all day. It was up to my knees (I must've been about 5ft at 16 years old) and we went for a walk, we were walking in the roads, there were cars just left everywhere lol. It was quite funny, I remember that day very well.
I'm quite glad that I'm not going to pregnant during the winter, as with C I was pregnant all through it and it terrified me that I might slip and fall on ice. I wouldn't go walking anywhere unless DH was right next to me. Although I can't say I'm looking forward to be being pregnant during the summer! Can't win lol.
Lazy day for me today, my Mum has C all day and over night, so I've just been into town and picked up my favourite panini, went to grab some snacks and now I'm back home and about to put back on my pyjamas!
Snow day for me tomorrow as well. I'm expecting that Wednesday may be as well but we'll see how that works out. I'm not too upset about it except that I feel a cold coming on so I have a feeling I will be combining a snow day and a sick day LOL.
By getting warm again i mean it is going from 50 to 70 F
That's what we're getting here too. We've had so much snow this winter and it only snowed last week. Now, bam! It's going to be 70 degrees today. I might have to break out the bathing suit and soak up some sun.
We got about 2 inches of snow overnight. I think it is the most we have gotten at one time this whole winter. I hate snow so I don't mind but I live in a middle state where we typically have snow on the ground all winter long. Hopefully this is the new "normal" for us. It is supposed to be 50* by Thursday and then nearing mid-60s this weekend. Bye bye snow.
I feel vomity and I am thinking most of it is nerves waiting for my beta draw today. It isn't until 1:20pm but I am hoping they will still get the results to me before the office closes. They are typically pretty good about that. Come on strong beta numbers!
We are in the path of the snowstorm. I'm not working till Thursday but we are likely going to have dad stay home so I always look forward to snow days( when I'm not working of course lol) I'm feeling nauseous today and my hand soap is making me ill. Yay.. looks like this will be a long 9 months.

I think we're finally into spring here, so just rain rain depressing rain. I hope we get some nice days soon because I keep telling people I'm bringing the sun home from Phoenix and they'll be pissed if I don't! Good snow thoughts to those who want it and those who don't!
You guys, I am such a cranky bitch today. I just need to make it through work and not snap at my coworkers/boss. LOL.
Anyone watching the Bachelor finale tonight? I will probably only watch an hour because I have to be up at 4 am tomorrow. Feeling meh about it anyway.
I was watching the bachelor up until about 2 weeks ago, but I always seem to lose interest at the end! I don't really like Nick, so I don't feel particularly invested in whether or not he'll FIND LOVE.
We're in the path of the snow. Depending on the map I look at, were expecting 8-12" or 12-18". I'm pretty sure I'll be home tomorrow and possibly Wednesday.

Miss Killjoy, sorry you're having high blood pressure, maybe the dentist just makes you nervous!
bethkate , omg, so much snow! I hope it's not too bad for you.
As for me, I called the fertility centre and they'll get me in for an ultrasound on Wednesday before my vacation so I can stress less about my spotting. I feel less worried already just knowing I'll know soon. They originally wanted me to come in on the 20th, so I'm just going in 5 days early
Ugh, this is the second time this week I've seen the neighbours dog in the garden.
Our garden is separated by trees/bushes and he's obviously figured out a way through.
He's incredibly friendly, but that's not really the point.
DH was doing the gardening Saturday and said he just strolled into our garden and just sat watching DH digging up the side that's connected to theirs. Then followed DH back to the front gate and he just opened their gate and he went back in.
I didn't bother doing that, when I checked again 5 minutes later he had gone. I'm sure he's friendly with cats as well, as we have 2 cats, and they are quite often outside. Not sure what to do, anxious that if we do tell them, they won't do anything. They leave their back door open so the dog can wonder in and out as he pleases. Really don't want to be the neighbour that's always on at them and it to turn awkward. DH isn't worried but I want to actually feel ok about leaving our backdoor open in the summer so C can go outside (once the gardens done) and so I don't have to literally sit there and watch for the dog to appear.
I think we will end up doing a small fence, just in case C ever figured out that he can get through the bushes, even though I'll shut that down if he figured out he could.
Sorry for the rant, DH is working so I can't rant to him 😂
